Solid, True 12 Ounces, Bourbon Drinking Solution!
After reading many reviews, I took the educated guess on this one. I was right. A true 12 ounce capacity that allows me to make a decent bourbon and water with ice. Keeps the drink cold and the ice will last you all night with just a few cubes needed to be added along the way. Outside stays room temp and this lowball is a nice manly sized diameter. I was irritated with the yuppie coffee lid and promptly threw it in the garbage can (recycle can actually so don't get your pants in a wad). I didn't buy this for sipping hot yuppie drinks from Starbricks, I bought it for sipping Kentucky bourbon! Yes, it holds a full 12 ounces of liquid from bottom to top. This is without ice for those of you who live in an alternate universe and expect cups to hold certain ounces with ice cubes added. Go for this if you like quality, simplicity and efficiency!

Solid mug. Happy with the purchase save a few minor details...
Well-made product!Had to buy a new "mug" for work, as traditional ones were too tall to fit into the new coffee machine we have. This one fits nicely, and keeps the coffee hot.A few things to consider - it does not have a closing mechanism, so it can spill, and your beverage will cool faster than similar mugs that close/seal.Also, if you have small hands, this may not be idea for you - it is quite a bit wider that many mugs - how else would they get 12oz in such a short container?

Absolute pleasure
Love it. I live in a tropical, hot environment and have been dealing with sweaty glasses/cups/koozies forever and this cup has changed all that. An icy drink used to last maybe 20-25 minutes, 1/4 cup of condensation underneath, now, unbelievably, ice stays in the cup for hours depending on temp., and no sweat! I even brought it to a restaurant for New Years, was just a pleasure to use. I don't usually like lids but it does make a difference using the lid with this cup, stays colder longer.I've used it for beer, drinks, water, coffee, etc. Stays hot for more than long enough to finish coffee. I'll bring it camping too. Can't compare it to other brands but not sure much could be improved upon. I might be jealous of the little stainless steel straws with other brands. Great size too. 12oz is probably more useful than the other 10 ounce versions.Might be too small for a full can of beer but you can always gulp down a couple ounces and you're ready to go.Ice spheres fit with room to spare. Love it.

Ain't a Yeti but it'll do!
I bought this for my morning coffee indulgence and only use it for hot liquids. The item so far has been of good build quality and has a good seal for the lid. Hot liquids get to about room temperature in 30min to an hour depending on the temp going in. This is perfect for me but could be an issue for people looking for a cheap Yeti.Overall the item is well built and looks of quality but misses on the temperature holding of its visual counterpart.

Definitely worth the money
I took a chance and purchased this over other known brands for 2 reasons: 1. It is supposedly 12 oz. versus the others being 10 oz. 2. It comes with a fitted lid versus the Yeti version, which does not include a lid. I tried it for the first time this weekend and I was very pleasantly surprised. My wife, who was skeptical, actually said, "Wow!" when she saw the result. Long story short, we attended a concert in Phoenix Saturday night. I filled it with ice and placed the lid on. 1 hour later I added some adult beverage mix outside the venue, which was 108 degrees outside. After drinking the beverage, I left the Lowball in my car. After the concert, 4 hours after adding the ice at home, the ice had barely melted and was still solid in the car at 102 degrees outside temperature. The Lowball did not sweat, and the outside layer was not cold, meaning the insulating dual layer did it's job well.

Finally a small mug that does what it say ...which it was lower in price !!
Finally a small mug that does what it says it will do ...unlike other mugs (small) I have returned recently ( both of which i like the design and feel) this cup actually performs like the larger cups that are vacum sealed and double walled ...it passes both the heat test and ice test (most important one for me) just like the bigger cousins .. did not go 5 star because of the price ...could be lower ..and should be ..but love the fact that it comes with a lid ..nice add on ...now I finally have a good home for my high end bourbons !!!

Caution - Not Insulated
I bought this "vacuum insulated" cup because it would be large enough to fit a large 2" size ice cube and a bit of bourbon. The idea was to slow the rate of ice melt vs. a standard glass cup as well as eliminate condensation on the outside of the cup. Well, I really do not believe this cup to be "vacuum insulated" I own and have used other vacuum insulated stainless steel cups from other brands (Yeti, Rtic, etc) and this one does not perform nearly as well. When I place an ice cub in this cup I can feel the exterior become ice cold, something that should NOT happen (and does not happen with other brands) if it was properly insulated. The same thing happens with warm contents. I'm giving it two stars as it is the appropriate size for my needs, but had to dock it several stars due to the low quality and lack of insulation. If it performed well in that task then I would have rated it 5-stars.

Well Made and a Good Value
I got this for work, mainly because my stainless steel travel cup, with its depth and spring loaded mechanism in the cover, is difficult to clean there. The Tank fits that role perfectly. I like the clear top and seals around the perimeter. I would have given this five (5) starts if it held my hot drink a little bit longer. The inner and outer wall distance, which holds the vacuum, is not as large as a good vacuum mug I do use for travel. But this is no slight on this product as I didn't expect it to be. So rather than about four (4) hours of hot beverage, I get about two+ (2+). I rarely go beyond this time period for a refill. Just that folks should be aware of this limitation and also about 1/4 the cost of ones that do hold heat longer. Btw - good price and that did influence my purchasing this cup. I've rec'd a lot of nice comments from my coworkers. Well made, good value and a keeper.
