Seeing that I am a Honda Master Technician with 25 years experience my review should be helpful. 1) wire connector doesn’t hold the pins in and are pushed out when installing. (Fix) install factory original 9 pin connector in place. This tripled the installation time and time is money! 2) After insulation vehicle runs for a second and dies, of tries to start then no fire after that. (Fix) test found that new igniter inside distributor was faulty. Replaced with Honda Factory igniter to fix problem. 3) When driving at highway speeds vehicle looses power eradicly and shuts down not to start again. (Fix) Inspection found that the rotor buttons plastic had separated from metal. With ignition time retarded do to rotor button stopping on set screws ignition lands on exhaust stroke. Install new rotor button and cap as the cap is probably next to fail. 4) Oil leaking on passenger side of engine area. (Fix) Removed distributor and found that the base o-ring had swollen into a gummy gelatinous blob and oil was pouring out. Installed new o-ring and pressure wash engine. Install 2qts of oil All of this has happened within 7 days after receiving and installing the new distributor assembly. My suggestion is for the company to stick to making just the base of the distributor or move on to making something that actually works. If you purchase this item it should be for the need of the metal base portion only! Do not expect this thing to work and save you money. I have the benefits of having extra parts laying scavenged from years of engine jobs.
