Gets hot quick.
I got this iron today and already used it. The accessories with it are very good, I like the interchangeable tips. The stand is useful and the iron stays in place good. The buttons that control the adjustable temp can get changed easily so that should be something to pay attention too, but is a nice feature as is the LCD readout for temperature. I'm sure it will suit many needs and get the job done easily. Feels solid and the design is good. I'm sure a person that solders a lot will find this iron handy and the price won't break the bank.

Complete and Easy to Use for DIY Projects
This soldering kit is everything I needed for my electronics projects! It comes with all the essential tools—soldering iron, solder, stand, cleaning sponge, and even extra tips—making it a great value. The soldering iron heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature, which makes the process smooth and efficient. The included accessories, like the stand and sponge, are also very useful for keeping everything organized and safe. I’ve used it for a few repairs and DIY builds, and it’s been reliable every time. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, this kit has everything you need to get started!

Typical [-] temperature button location design flaw
This iron served me well for over 3 years, until my foot caught the cord and dragged it off the workbench and killed it.While it's great to have the digital temperature readout, all of these have the same design flaw: the - temperature button is located in the way of the hand. In the middle of soldering, suddenly the solder isn't melting properly, the tip remains too long on the piece, the PCB gets too hot, sometimes the pad lifts off the substrate, and the PCB is ruined. These digital irons should have a temperature locking feature. Press & hold both temperature buttons to lock/unlock adjustments. This is why, after not finding irons with that feature, nor any with the - button above the LCD, I've replaced this with an iron that has a temperature control dial. Set and forget it. For SMD work, I never need to change my temperature settings anyway.

Impressive tool for $10!!!
I was not expecting the quality that I received. This is a really nice, digitally temperature-monitored, soldering iron that, for $10, came with a small stand, a sleeve of solder, multiple replaceable tips, and a block of rosin;. I was impressed. I haven't used it much yet, but, out of the box it is an impressive tool for $10!!!

Wood burner/ soldering tool.
This is the best. Read instructions. Heats up fast and will keep settings when you turn it back on.

Very pleased so far
I bought this as a replacement for a Weller 60 watt with adjustable base (analog knob and no temperature reading) I have been putting up with for a few years now. I bought the old soldering iron from a big box store and was immediately disappointed with it because the detachable iron is indeed 60 watts, but the base is only 40!. It took literal minutes to get hit enough to melt leaded solder and would lose heat the moment you touched it to wire or a PCB. I would have to run it hot because of the constant fluctuation in temp and it was just awful to use. I finally gave up on it this weekend when I struggled for what felt like ages to get a simple through hole capacitor out, and by the time I got the solder heated evenly enough to wick enough off the legs to remove it the capacitor was super hot. I then absolutely couldn't get solder to flow well enough to clear the hole. I trashed it and this thing had NO PROBLEM clearing that hole today. This thing really does only take a couple seconds to head up. I set it to 310c and added some unleaded to the solder hole and bam wicked the hole clear. Resoldering the capacitor and wire leads back on was no problem. Gets hot fast and stays hot without any problem when applying to a pcp. Tried soldering some thicker braided copper wires together and it had no problem staying to temp that way either. I only planned to test a little and ended up working for a good 45 minutes or more turning it on and off here and there, but did have it on for at least 15 minutes constantly once that I took note off. The handle never got hot, at least not where you should be holding it. If you get your fingertips on the plastic on the other side of the padded area (the lip area, not the plastic you can unscrew) its a bit uncomfortable, but not concerning and not as bad as the Weller was. It does cool off pretty fast after you turn it off, too. You have no idea how nice this is to keep an iron at a steady temp that doesn't have to instantly scorch flux to stay hot enough to transfer heat while soldering. If this thing lasts a year I'll be totally happy at this price.

Exceeded Expectations
Heats up fast and had adjustable temperature. I have used this to replace microswitches on PC boards and wires to spring steel plugs. I was able to control the temperature and keep it localized with this little iron without having to use heat sink on surrounding areas. Great function at a value price.

It works i guess but isnt super great.
The media could not be loaded. TIm a DIYer and purchased this to replace the cheap harborfreight/dollar store style soldering irons that just plug in and dont even have an on/off switch. Those usually take several minutes to heat up.This soldering iron does heat it up fairly quick, within seconds. The package screamed chinese quality and the build quality seems so so. Ultimately i was able to do the repair i needed but not without struggling. When i pre tinned the tip it only seemed to want to stick to the very tip of the iron, no matter how much rosin i used. I tried using the included rosin and wire and was having a difficult time. I then tried using more rosin and my rosin core wire from the other kit i had. The repair seems so so, better than a cold joint but still not ideal. I rate my own repair a 4/10 in fit and finish. One thing i disliked, and one of the main reasons i bought this was because of the 5 extra tips. ONLY the tip that was attached to the iron has good fitment. All the other tips seem largely oversized for the ceramic, which would logically only result in poor heat transfer. The attached video shows the fit of the first tip compared to the "extra" tips.Update: this is the third time ive used this for a DIY repair. One of the tips has already disentigrated. You get what you pay for i suppose.
