Practical Pattern Making: A Step-By-Step Guide

So I read reviews that this was great. I absolutely hate it! I wish I hadn't bought it because honestly it's just awful. The styles inside are very off the charts couture and obscure that no on would ever want to actually make any of these. They show you how to make a pencil skirt sloper which I have read way easier tutorials that the one that is included in this book. As well, they show a sloper for a bodice but the book contains no sloper bodice. I'd have returned this book if it had been easier to do so. Don't buy this book many others are much better than this.

This book is really good for pattern design and making. Read the introduction on how to use them otherwise you might be a little lost. Get a good sketchbook and some really good pencils.
