i became alergic to dairy and have purchased from katz for a few years now they make great products and this is no exception

I've learned the hard-way that because KATZ bakery goods must be stored frozen at all times, do not order them from anywhere that can't deliver them in a cold storage way.The donuts I ordered with this ordered arrived via FedEx and arrived cold. These cinnamon buns arrived via Amazon delivery DAYS after shipping, and arrived at air temp. Which of course meant they were moldy.I love KATZ products. I am GF by medical necessity, not lifestyle choice, so I miss a good bunch of carby treats and KATZ products are almost near identical to the "real" things in most cases. The only trouble is I've only found 1 local grocer that carries KATZ products, it's not within walking distance (I don't drive either, again medical necessity), and they don't have a deep or broad range of KATZ products. I was hoping I'd get a bit that deeply misses cinnamon bun treat with these but sadly they arrived moldy and I couldn't eat them.The size is on par with a Little Debbie Honey Bun. At room/ambient temp they were hard-ish, so definitely need to warm them to soften them.

I give a three star review for Katz bakery for the following reasons. In the winter this is a 5 star bakery and shipping service. In the warmer weather you are taking a real risk. 0 stars after April in NY. Here is why, the bakery does not include cold packs. The food is shipped frozen and allowed to defrost in transit. I did not take the other reviewers concerns seriously enough and wanted to write a detailed explaination so others could make the best purchase for their needs.I contacted Katz and AMAZON about an a problem, both AMAZON and Katz offered me a refund, Katz actually refunded the entire order and reshipped some items to me! All offered excellent customer service!!!!! 5 stars to Katz and AMAZON for their customer service in dealing with my issue.The tastiest and easiest/quickest to defrost and eat are Katz's Powdered and Cinnamon Donuts-I will order them again and again. I do love the glazed-I recommend letting them sit out until they defrost and the glaze hardens again, about 3 to 4 hours. The Custard filled donuts are extremely tasty so good, like a zeppoli filled with Boston Cream. The Jelly donuts are inconsistent-some will not have any jelly-true story. The pies must be baked, I haven't tried them yet. The Rugehlah were not my favorite. The cinnamon rolls-these everyone could could tell were a gluten free item and best eaten hot and quickly. All the donuts TASTE like real donuts. What. A. Treat. I will order these again in the cool weather. And I want to try the cupcakes.

After I went gluten free I had to live without a ton of my favorite foods. I love cinnamon buns, especially when they are drowned in that white icing. Katz carries a bunch of gluten free treats and they have done a great job with the flavor and texture of these buns. And, they are so dang easy to fix! Pull one out of the plastic, sit it on a plate or napkin and zap for 23 seconds. The taste is fabulous! No gritty texture like most gluten free stuff. I love the icing on these too because they are covered really well. I wish I could give five stars. But...gluten free never costs what regular does and everything is smaller. You need to eat three of these to equal one regular one. So, 4 stars. They need to make them larger and bring costs down.

If you buy these go ahead and get 2 boxes they are so good warm slightly in microwave.

So disappointed I haven’t had a cinnamon roll in forever being gluten and dairy free so I splurged on these being like $10 a box for only 4 of them I was shocked and disappointed to open the box and find them all molded. I don’t feel like they were properly refrigerated or safe at all. This is probably the first mega review I’ve ever written but they are non refundable and I wouldn’t want anyone else to waste their money on a moldy product. I have a mold allergy on top of that so now itchy and broken out from touching them before I realized they had the mold. So disappointed!

I am addicted! I order them all the time. For over a year now. I’ve only had one batch that barely had any icing on them. That was disappointing. But, 1 time in over a year! And they still had icing, just not the usual amount.
