It's great, I really like it, great cross but it's not a rosary though as the title says but I already knew it from the picture and it looks exactly like that.

Q: I am looking to buy one for my best friend who is a new seminarian and his birthday is soon :) I'm not sure of the sizes? too big and distracting?

No, not really. I have mine hanging in my car and I rarely notice it. It's beautiful. I gave them out as favors for my sons' baptism. It is kind of chunky, but it is not long, so it's not distracting to me at all. I love mine.

How wonderful! Congratulations!! If they pray the rosary it is always nice to have one in the car. This particular rosary is quite weighty and substantial. I love the way it looks. It’s always a wonderful visual image of how much Christ loves me. However, because of the toggle clasp it can be a bit cumbersome to remove from the rear view mirror. Therefore, I would suggest a complete or full rosary of 5 decades (50 beads) which is easier to slip over and onto the mirror. I hope this was able to help you.
