Q: In a previous question someone asked what is the difference of 5-0 and 5-00 and someone answered that 5-00 is for gray. So is 5-00 better at coverage

I have used these Igora hair products for several years for covering gray. I have found no difference in the 2 products (5-0 and 5-00). They cover my gray hair better than any other product I have tried. I must also admit that I leave the product on my hair long than indicated on the package (about 45 minutes) to improve the longevity of the color. My hair is coarse and thick and all products seems to take longer to absorb. I also use the Igora Developer. I hope this helps.

I'm pleased to report that the beautiful chestnut brown color is not only still there after two weeks and many washes, it has covered up all those pesky grays too!My thoughts: The Igora line assuredly does contain the more harmful ingredients. Schwartzkopf's Essensity sounds like a safer bet.

Q: does this line run a level darker? for example is the dark blonde more like light brown?

Yes, it is more like lt brown. I'm very gray and I mix 6.0 with 6.5 to get a datker med brown just to cover everything

What is the difference between 5-0 and 5-00? They both are named "Light Brown."

Have been using for 3 years now

This is very good quality product that my hair stylist friend recommended. I keep buying it for 3 years now. I do my roots myself. It doesn’t make your hair turn reddish after a while, which most of permanent hair dyes do.Highly recommend!

Use this once a month

This color is dark and shiny. Save hundreds doing my roots in between hair appointments every 6 months. I am able to do my roots with half this bottle and I have a ton of hair

Delivered wrong colors

The product is good, easy to apply, but the company delivered the wrong color and it took much longer than other companies to ship. So I wont be ordering from them anymore
