Love it.
You can definitely tell a difference that it tastes better than Nikishi. A bit pricey but worth it if you want quality rice and eat it all the time like in my house.

Love this rice!
This one of my favorite rice. It has an excellent texture. I love it so much that I sent it to Denver for my relative to try. It is actually a good price , too. I buy it from a Japanese market and they sell it for $5.00 less.I like the texture of this rice. I am introducing it to my friends and relatives. 😊

Clean, neutral flavor
Not bad. It has less of the sweet flavor typical of other Japanese rice, such as nanatsuboshi and koshihikari. The neutral taste might appeal to people who don’t enjoy the taste of rice, but I enjoy the taste and sweetness of such rice. Still a very good quality rice, clean and well purled, sticky enough to be sushi rice.

I love the flavor and texture.
It tastes sweet and it has a rich flavor. Chewing well can tell you how delicious it is. I always cook it by Umami mode of my Zojirushi rice cooker.

Better than most
This is pretty tasty, quality rice. It gets sufficiently sticky for if you cook it right. If you want something a step above your typical supermarket "japanese" style rices at a good price this would work.

Buy your generic store brand instead.
Having sampled multiple brands of japanese rice (both domestic and imported), DO NOT purchase this product. The taste of the rice is flat and posses no fragrance whatsoever. Also, the texture is abysmal, the rice comes out mushy even when cooked with less water than recommended in a Zojirushi rice cooker. This is not a "premium" brand of rice, and the quality of the product definitely does not justify the steep price tag. Your money is better spent sticking with your local grocery store variety, or I recommend Tamaki Gold if you're looking for a more premium grain.

Worth the price
MIL recommended this and I usually buy it at MItsuwa which is about 25 miles away from home. Since it's a long drive and not to deal with traffic, I ordered it via Amazon. It is worth the price for 15 lbs, just wish they had bigger bags. It has a very sweet flavor even after reheating it.
