Q: Does the set come with the plastic case seen in the photo?

Yes, it does. We like these cards so much that I have bought many decks as gifts. The case is just as durable as the cards.

Q: The discription says the item weighs 1.76 ounces is that for the whole deck and does that include a carring case?

The case adds an ounce. My old never-used postage scale says 3 1/2 for the cards and 4 1/2oz with the case. These are the BEST cards. They wash off and last for years (with a lot of use). Everyone loves them!
