Payment for the ultimate chase? Full pardons for all of them and a chance to make their families whole again.Bonus Content:Deleted ScenesThe Making of Fast & Furious 6: The Fastest of Them AllThe Making of Fast & Furious 6: Reuniting the TeamThe Making of Fast & Furious 6: Letty's ReturnThe Making of Fast & Furious 6: The Mastermind and the MoleOn the Set with VinFeature Commentary with Director Justin Lin]]> desertcart.com Few movie franchises can match the cheerfully improbable rise of the Fast & Furious series, which has escalated from humble B-movie beginnings to genuine gotta-see-to-believe blockbuster status. (For clarity's sake, it should be noted that in this case, "humble" means a film where the camera routinely swooped through a car's exhaust manifold.) This sixth installment may take a while to match the cruising speed of its immediate predecessor (the awesomely overstuffed Fast Five) but once it does, look out. Picking up more or less where the last one left off, the story finds the gang of Wacky Racers living off of the grid and enjoying the good life. Quiet Time comes to a halt, however, with the arrival of Federal Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), who needs their help in stopping an elite team of London mercenaries. Everything that can possibly collide and/or explode, does. Director Justin Lin, who has been handling the series since 2006's Tokyo Drift, goes all out this time around, bringing back old cast members, reinforcing the endearingly corny ties between the characters--just try and count the number of times Vin Diesel growls "family"--and adding Haywire's Gina Carano to increase the already copious bruising ratio. While such an attempt at delighting the longtime fans is admirable, the attention paid to the large roster may baffle viewers not up on their series mythology, particularly during the rather slow first act. Things correct themselves fiercely at the midpoint, though, when a tank hits the freeway in a sequence that should, by all rights, be impossible to top. Lin and Co. somehow manage to crank up the volume even further, however, with a finale involving an exceedingly large plane, the world's largest runway, and a fleet of cars sporting grappling hooks. If all that wasn't already enough, stick around for the closing credits, which suggests that the filmmakers have found a way to up the ante for the next sequel. You know that old saying about how less is more? Yeah, that's totally not the case here. --Andrew Wright Review: One of the better F&F movies - I bought this movie along with the F&F 1-5 set while it was on sale to have my collection complete (until F&F7 at least). I bought this one with the Steelbook case and it is easily the best case of the 6 movies. The artwork is also much better than the bland, bargain-bin covers of the first set of 5. One of my favorite things they worked into this Blu-ray is the homage to Paul Walker (Brian O'Connor) right after the Universal Studios segment when you first put in the disc. It follows him briefly through each of the five movies he was in (he was not in Tokyo Drift) and gives him a heartfelt goodbye. RIP, Paul Walker. The movie itself is your pretty typical action movie, which for me isn't a negative. So you should expect exciting action scenes, fire, explosions, high speeds, fist fighting, and a ridiculous storyline with lots of plot holes. But if you know what to expect going in, you shouldn't have a hard time enjoying it! Very few, if any, of the movies are believable (the first one is probably the least ridiculous, story-wise), but they still lay out an interesting story and plenty of action/racing scenes. Works for me! I won't spoil anything, but there is an especially ridiculous airplane scene in this one, that is really cool, but easily one of the most ridiculous 15 minute segments I've ever seen (short of them stealing the vault in Rio from Fast Five). But you get to watch Toretto (Vin Diesel) fight Hobbs (Johnson) along with some other unknown beefcake guy. Hard not to enjoy some of these crazy fights and racing scenes. The movie ties in with F&F: Tokyo Drift at the end (since F&F: TD is the latest one in the F&F timeline), and introduces a new character to headline as the "bad guy" in F&F 7... Jason Freakin' Statham. So it really gets you excited for the next movie, though due to Paul Walker's untimely passing, leaves us unsure of how that will affect production and overall progression of the F&F timeline. I really hope they do a competent job re-engineering F&F 7 to properly pay respect to Paul Walker and his Brian O'Connor character. Review: Good movie - Good movie

A fun action movie
The "Fast" movies are definitely in the category of you know what you get. They are faced-paced action movies, with totally unrealistic plots and over-the-top stunts that are set (mostly) around crazy car chases. If you are expecting great writing or acting you are out of luck, although Ludacris and Tyreese do form a pretty good comedy pair. It has torched the idea of needing to suspend your disbelief and into the territory of just going with it and not thinking too hard about it. The movie is set sometime after the events of the fifth movie with the team having received amnesty for their various crimes by helping out Hobbs (The Rock) in Rio. When Hobbs and his partner Riley Hicks (played by Gina Carano) investigate the destruction of a Russian military convoy by a crew led by former British SAS Major and special ops soldier Owen Shaw (played by Luke Evans), Hobbs recruits Dom to track them down using evidence that Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) is alive. What follows is lots of explosions, fighting, car chases, and what you would expect. Of course, there are plot twists, and the movie continues to be set before the events of Tokyo Drift so that Han can keep being included (with jokes about getting to Tokyo at some point). For those who get the Blu-Ray, the movie looks and sounds great in HD. The movie uses a blend of CGI and practical effects and they basically look seamless. The extras include c commentary track on the movie with director Justin Lin, several making-of and behind-the-scenes featurettes, and deleted scenes. They all total to just under two hours' worth of extras. You also get the extended edition and theatrical version of the movie. Nothing is really changed in the extended edition, and the additions are "blink and you will miss them" quick. So, very minimal. Overall, the movie is a fun action film that is meant to be a turn off your brain and enjoy it kind of thing. The movies in the franchise have become a tongue-in-cheek action-fest and really do not try to be anything more than that. Obviously, some people love the movies others hate them, and this is probably not going to change your mind about them regardless of which category you fall into.

Excellent plot. Wonderful actors. Intense action. Very pleased overall.
Just finished watching the movie. Everything in this movie was seriously flat-out action-packed. I really loved it. The speed, the story, the cars, the teamwork, the guns, the fights, the twists and turns-- I'm baffled by all of the stunts pulled off and everything.. They did a good job with this movie.. Everything was really realistic and mind-blowing.. A+ grade movie, no doubt, in my opinion. I highly recommend this movie if you are into Fast and Furious series, action movies, and if you are really into cars. Great, great movie with amazing plots. I can't wait to see the next movie.... but Paul Walker.. man, how it came at such a sad, random time for him to go so suddenly.. Still had a lot of live for and was still doing Fast and Furious 7 with the crew halfway done... Rest In Peace, Paul Walker.. One of coolest actors on our planet. You will be greatly missed man.. A lot of people idolized you, including myself. Anyway you're in for a hell of a ride guys once you begin watching this movie. Enjoy it guys! Ride or die! Wooo!!

Sin duda la más espectacular de toda la saga, aunque sin parecer absurda del todo. Los coches quedan cada vez más de lado, pero una de las mejores películas de acción de los últimos años, por no decir la mejor.
