I purchased as a birthday present for my son, who happens to need a heart rate monitor for medical reasons. All seemed well and he was satisfied, yet item description states it's water resistant and his watch is just dead after getting wet once! He hasn't been able to use at all. I'd purchase I. April, he received in earlyMay and enjoyed it for less than a month. NOT water resistant.
