Minnetonka Men's Moosehide Leather Moccasins

I bought a cheaper pair to replace my old moose moccasins and returned them because I didn't like the quality. I bought the current version in half size larger because of comments they were running small. They fit fine. They have replaced the cloth liner with some type of hide which is an improvement. I started using an insole with my old ones which improves comfort.

Order arrived a day early in perfect condition. This not my first pair of Minnetonka Moccasins. These fit my expectations perfectly. Size as normal (14) You get what you pay for, and this brand specializes in moccasins, and they do not disappoint. Perfect combination of Amazon to order through Prime and manufacture. Normally I do not review this soon after arrival but the leather (soft), the sole (sturdy) and the stitching (consistent) and prior experience with the brands (like over 30 years) made normal hesitancy to recommend unnecessary. A great product and exponentially better than many of the knock offs on the market.

These shoes are not cheap, but they are very nice looking and are obviously high-quality with great workmanship. As I wear them for a while, I can see upgrading the rating to 5 stars, but I'm waiting to do so because the shoes are such a tight fit. They fit very snugly and are a bit of a challenge to get on, even though I ordered a half-size over my normal size of 11. I'm hoping that they will stretch as they are broken in; if as I hope they will, I will return and upgrade the shoes.Even with the tight fit, they are very comfortable. It's definitely a quality item and I really hope as they are worn they stretch a bit to be even more comfortable.

I’ve been wearing these for years; bought several pair over the years. They last a long time. I can’t find anything comparable. Great traction -very good value for the money. My highest recommendation.
