Q: Would someone measure the hat when you close it at its widest and at the very smallest with the adjustable strap? I would be thankful! Susan

Hi Susan, I measured the diameter of the hat both ways (largest diameter and smallest) and at the hat's widest it is about 8 1/2 inches and at the smallest it is about 7 inches. My husband has worn it a great deal so now there may have been a little stretching from when it was brand new. He chauffeurs our grandkids around a great deal (sometimes even those who are young adults) and has had SO much fun with that hat! Judy

Hi Carmen Cosmo, I had ordered the hat, and it fitted my head well, so if you had a big head, the hat of the measurement probably don't fit you right. I would check it first before you order it. I actually wear it for holloween party as KATO! THE GREEN HORNET. I got lot of compliments. Good luck to you, and I hope you like the hat and hopefully it fit you right.

I believe it would. I have a very large head myself and tried it on. It is adjustable. I have bought two of them, one for my great nephew who is 10 years old and one for an 89 year old woman. It fit both of them. Fun hat!

I love the adjustable band. My head circumference is almost 24 inches and this hat fit comfortably. My 9 year old loved it.. It’s big on him but not ridiculously . This was bought door cosplay but I’d wear it about . Good value for the money.
