MAGNETIC VENT COVERS- 6 Pack (8" x 15")

Good product did what it was supposed to. I covered some vents in the first floor and the air flowed to my son's room that was always too hot. I was worried because some people said that they did not stick well. They do stick and I found out why people think they do not stick. They attached very well on all the vents except for one that had been painted over a couple of times.

Honestly the reviews weren’t so good on these but I decided to try them anyway. I needed to cover an AC and heat register in a bedroom. The air flow is strong and it gets way too cold in this particular room in the summer and way too hot in the winter. The register vent is 13x13 and I couldn’t find a decent cover that would fit this size so I ordered these instead and planned on cutting to size. Everyone said the magnets weren’t very strong so I ordered heavy duty magnets to strengthen the hold but I disagree with the reviews! I cut these to the right width and slapped two of these babies on the register vent to cover the whole thing. It held up perfectly and fixed my problem immediately. I didn’t even need the extra magnets. I think they look pretty sleek too. Just test a kitchen magnet on your vent first to make sure it’s metal and these will stick to at least the borders. I definitely recommend!

We just moved into a house with a forced hot air/central air system. Getting things balanced among the rooms is always an issue. I saw these on Amazon and decided to try them out. First thing to note: THEY ARE WHITE! Really really white. You can paint them. You can wallpaper them, but if you put them over your vents as they come out of the box, you'll always know where they are.I'm using these on floor vents. First make sure your vents are magnetic. If they are plastic or aluminum these will not work. These are pretty large and you might think the best approach is to use a full one on each vent. You're better served by cutting them (you can do that with household scissors) to fit your vents. They with hold better if they are completely on the vents. In my case I can cut them in half length-wise and then trim the end a bit and I end up with two covers that fit perfectly.I'm only doing floor vents so I can't speak to their staying in place on wall or ceiling vents. I'm a little doubtful about ceiling vents.In any case these work as advertised and and are a good value. If you're able to get 2 vent covers out of each one they are an excellent value.Oh, and did mention, they're WHITE.

I live in a mobile home and I got these to cover the air vents in the skirting ...Because of the snow and ice and it was so freacken cold... They worked perfect... stuck to them really good....

These magnets are so weak that they will not actually stick to the vents when the air starts to blow. I even tried using stronger magnets over the top to no avail. These are useless to me.

I bought these to use on my lower level, where I have a mixture of wall vents and ceiling vents. They work just fine on the wall vents, however they don't have enough magnetic strength to stay on my ceiling vents. Other reviews claim that they are strong enough for ceiling vents which seems to indicate that the magnetic quality varies drastically from one batch to another. If I hadn't missed the 30-day window for returns, I would have returned them as faulty and gotten another pack to see if they were any better.

They can be easily cut to fit any size register or just laid flat on the floor. They are heavier (better) than I expected.They're metallic but can also be used on a wood floor. I have a wood floor with a vent that's flat and I put it over it and slide it to open or close it to control the air flow in a room seldom used. Arrived fast. Great product!

They don’t magnetic to the metal and stay there. They fall off. They are not strong enough
