The design and engineering that went into this Google Mini Gen2 is perfect! Literally holds the Google Mini perfectly with little effort to attach it. All you have to do is press the Google Mini into the opening and it holds it in place. Next the storage of the wiring is flawless, you push the cord into the slot and it fits perfect! There isn’t any slop as the slot is unsized to allow the cord to sit snug to not to fall out. Other products out there have a oversized slot and the cord is able to move around in the slot so it just falls out. This is important because you don’t want to have to hold the cord in place when trying to plug it in because it will unspool and won’t allow to to install the assembly flush to the outlet or you have to put it back in the slot over and over again because it won’t stay in place. I have attached an image from my base for my Google Nest Hub Max as an example of poor design and engineering execution as the cord just falls out of the base.

I am SO glad my friend told me about this thing, because having the Google mini sitting on my desk, with the cord trailing off, has bothered me for as long as I've had it. I am a huge fan of having things nicely and neatly tucked away, and this contraption ticks all the boxes! It's incredibly easy to set up/install, the space for winding the cord in the back is the perfect length, the adapters that go around the plug make it a perfect, snug fit, and it just looks so much better. I know it shows it being mounted with the mini hanging down, but I have mine going up with no issues - it's quite sturdy. The instructions were also clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this handy hanger to anyone looking for a way to get their mini off the counter top.

I use these speakers in several locations throughout the house but was not crazy about more wires going to the end tables. This holder keeps them off my tables nicely. Easy to use.

I have 12 total Google Nest Mini's in the house, 1 or 2 in each room and they are ALL in these mounts. I have used other brands and I like to orient the Nests upwards on the top socket and all other brands would not stay clocked at 12 o'clock, they would start to slide to the left or right. 2 of my Nest speakers are the 1st generation and I had no idea that the power plugs were different sizes until I got my first batch of these mounts, it has a spacer for the smaller older generation Nest and it holds just as strong. The plastic on these are more matte than other brands and look much higher quality than the glossy plasticky look of others. There is enough room to use the other socket in your outlet with these plugged in. Overall, I will be getting these going forward when I get more Nest Minis.

The minis are great, but there are times you would just like to eliminate the cord and or table top real estate; these units do both. This version gave me 3 mounts, I couldn't get one mount for this price with my other brand which uses a magnet. These mounts actually hold the unit tighter, they do take longer to string the cord and the mount itself feels a little flimsy. DO NOT let that be a negative, plug it in and you are done. Plenty sturdy for this purpose.
