Will this work for Super Smash Bros for the Wii U?

Yes but it will not play exactly like a GameCube Controller would. This adapter causes the Wii U to recognize the controller as a Classic Controller, and some liberties had to be taken in order to make this happen. For example, the shoulder buttons on the Cube Controller are pressure sensitive and the Classic Controller's are not, so this adapter will not read the degree of pressure you're putting on the shoulder buttons. You have to press the GameCube Controller's shoulder buttons all the way down in order for the console to recognize it as a button press. For a more faithful and high quality adapter, I recommend the official adapter (the one with four Controller ports that plugs into the Wii U's USBs). I own both and after using the official one, I'm never going back to using the Mayflash one.

Does this work with the Wireless Wavebird controller? I've seen some ppl say yes, others say no. If you have TRIED YOURSELF, let me know the answer.

I have tried this with the wireless Wavebird controller, and performance is EXTREMELY poor. The controller intermittently disconnects and reconnects, and the neutral position of the analog stick keeps getting reset, which makes games impossible to play. I have 4 different wavebird controllers and this was a problem on every single one of them. Do not use this with a Wavebird, it won't work. Sorry.

I cannot get the turbo light to stop blinking. This device is useless in Wii U mode. Tried tapping the button twice to erase settings but it wont?

You need to use an original wiimote with the mayflash adapter. If you are using the wii motion plus wiimote the light will continually blink and the controller will not work.

If I buy multiple adapters and plug them all into Wii motes, can me and some friends play brawl simultaneously at the same time?

I'm not 100% certain but I do know that Nintendo is releasing a multi port GameCube controller with the release of the new Smash Brothers which will be released at the end of the year. With the multi port adapter you can use for GameCube controllers all at once.... The price for the Nintendo GameCube multi port adapter is $19.99.
