I've started using the 24 oz mason jars for my smoothies but I didn't want it to spill so I found this set. The hole is large enough to use a silicone straw suitable for smoothies. It's hard to put on the sleeve but then you want it secure. I was concerned about losing the plug so I used an 8 inch rubber band, tied a knot around the plug and hang it from the jar. I got mine from the post office I think, but these look like the same thing:  Extra Large 8 Inch White Big Postal Rubber Band - Pack of 30 Pieces .

I was looking for something my husband could use to take his coffee in to work. He used a mason jar, and I had to find something to compliment it. I came across this set, and thought it would be perfect.I ordered one (blue) to "test" it out, and was very satisfied. My husband says he does still feel the heat, but not nearly as much as before. The spout is great and has no leakage at all. The color is very nice as well, not to bright and loud. Only downside (which is why it didn't get 5 stars) was the amount of time it took to put the cover onto the jar. I made sure to reiterate to my husband not to take it off because it took about 20+ minutes to get it on all the way. I used a wide mouth BALL jar which seemed to be slightly wider than the cover. It fits well, just takes A LOT of effort to put on. Not sure if another brand of jar would be different.Overall, very happy with the purchase and will be ordering another one (in purple) for myself.

I so wanted to like this. It seems like a great idea but it just didn't work out for me. I find it uncomfortable to drink out of and cleaning it is a pain in the bum. It fits so tightly onto the jar that having to remove it every time you want to wash everything its a pain. It did not leak at all and I can tell that it is made out of strong material. The color is cute and I didn't notice and odd smells or tastes from it. It just didn't work for me.

Love this cup for my morning tea. I can microwave the base at work, easy to clean, stays sealed, easy to drink. I've busted like 4 jars-well my students broke one, but the shell survives. I bought stainless rings eventually. I have two, use them every day, it fits in my car's cup holder, and haven't lost the cork but do have cork corks lying around just in case. Enjoy!

Fits very well! I wish the bottom were a little concave so that it would hug the jar bottom better, but that's just a nit-picky aesthetic comment. The cork prevents leaks very well. This thing is great for hot or cold beverages. So far my favorite use has been iced tea because I love a big jar for that! And I like using glass instead of plastic or stainless steel.Very well-made product, and I hope more sizes become available. 24 ounces is a bit big for coffee, so seeing this in a smaller size would be awesome.

I love it! I use my mason jar for cold drinks mostly but when I use it for hot coffee/teas the sleeve doesn't protect you from the 190-212 degree heat. You have to wait 5-10 minutes to pick it up but its better than waiting 25-35 w/o the sleeve til its cold! So I think its amazing and will recommend. Additionally its quite cute and I get asked where I bought my mug all the time.

I have some older pint & a half Ball brand mason jars, and this did not fit them at all. The lid parts work but the sleeve does not.

This sleeve and lid is designed to fit 24 oz. mason jars. The sleeve is a nice, snug fit and the lid doesn't leak when you're drinking (unlike some cheap travel mugs). I use this mainly for my iced coffee because the strong flavor can be easily absorbed by plastic cups or mugs but not by the glass mason jar.
