This is a very sturdy, heavy duty product that allows you to add significant versatility to your E-track straps. Specifically, this "double" allows you to attach your E-track style strap to another E-track attachment, for example a snap hook (see my uploaded picture), which turns the E-strap into a heavy duty, "conventional" ratchet strap. In other words, if you need to tie something down in a vehicle that doesn't have an E-track system installed, or if you need to connect to parts of a vehicle where there's no E-track (for example, factory or aftermarket anchor points) this product allows you to do just that, minimizing the number of different straps you need to haul around. Do yourself a favor a buy at least 4 at a time to save on shipping.

Necessary product for connecting e track straps. The only other way would be to tie them in s knot. Price with shipping seems a little high for what it is, but it does what I need and there weren't many choices out there.
