Aquatic Fundamentals 55/38 Gallon Aquarium Stand with Front Access Door, Black, Made in USA

Well, first there was so much saw dust in the box, I had to wear a mask. Then the dust stuck to the black parts and was hard to Scrub off even with wet clothes. Then several screw holes cracked so I had to use wood glue to fix and some screw holes still made loud cracking noises (scary and upsetting) when assembling. Lastly, had to add two 2x4 cut to 26.5 inches to reinforce the soft center pieces, meaning it would have been nice if the top was NOT 2 pieces held on in the middle by 2 small 2 inch metal plates. I also used cleat silicone seal to fill and support the gaps between the side boards. Lastly, some screws on to bottom would not fit right or flush, so scratched my floor when moving it around after assembled. Basically, you will have to make it work.

Nice stand however while I was putting together the stand the wood sounded cheap

The stand looks nice and it's easy to assemble. But the back of the stand only have 1 supporting bar. Maybe it's okay. I don't want to take chance for 55 gallon tank and used 2x4 to enforce the back support. There is also no shelf. Plan to buy some organizing shelves. And I'm willing to pay a little more to have a built in shelf and two more supporting bars at the back.

Stand is nice, my 55 gallon fits nicely ontop the only con is it requires some additional reinforcement if you’re going to have a 55gallon tank on there.

THIS ITEM CAME WITH A FEW DEFECTS MOSTLY BECAUSE OF PACKAGING OR THE LACK OF DAMAGE WAS APPARENT BUT WITH A LI OF BLACK TAPE AND PAINT I MADE IT WORK!!!

Good value for the price

Works really well, but easily scratches and chips. I use it for my acrylic 55 gallon aquarium, the top surface is even with no bumps or lumps that might damage my aquarium.

My turtle needed a bigger aquarium. Had her for 30 years and it gave her more room to swim. The storage underneath is big enough for all supplies needed for her and the filter. Very sturdy and classy looking especially at night while lit up.
