Do NOT let the negative reviews scare you away.
After reading a handful of reviews that were based on people upset about emotional aspects of the speaker... ie it won't connect to their flip 4 speakers. Whatever. I looked past that and am glad I went with the 5. The sound quality is superb. The bass response is indeed superior to the 4 as well as the battery life. At the same price point of 100 dollars its a no brainer. The Flip 5 is a superior model in all aspects. This speaker far, far exceeded my expectations. This speaker is stupid loud - and crisp at that. I work in an automotive shop and I keep my volume at 25% in my station. Phenomenal sound, phenomenal quality, could not be happier. I highly recommend.

Fantastic speaker
At 62 my hearing is not very good. Tinitus in both ears. Most speakers are guite tinny for my hearing. I heard the JBL at my daughters house and was very surprised at the richness of the tones at all frequencies. Bought on immediately and have been extremely pleased with it.

Increíble bocina
Lo pedí en la tarde noche y al día siguiente, antes de medio día, ya me había llegado.Suena increíble y aunque le subas todo el volumen no se distorsiona el sonido, esta es mi marca favorita de altavoces, si están pensando en comprarla no lo duden, es un gasto que vale cada centavo 😍👌🏻

Not loud.
This very expensive speaker after connect not working, just mumbling some sound thats all.Lot of people have many problems with this JBL speakers. Edit: after ground reset phone speaker starting working.

Soy de los que les gusta buscar información en la red antes de adquirir un producto, más si es caro. Así hice en el caso de estas bocinas.Hallarás opiniones encontradas: algunos las elevan hasta las nubes y otros sencillamente las sitúan en su lugar sin muchos adornos.En mi modesta opinión, si las encuentras abajo de 2 mil no lo pienses mucho. Sonido de calidad a ese precio difícilmente lo halles. JBL sabe muy bien cómo equilibrar estética, durabilidad y calidad en sus productos.Tanta fue mi buena impresión con esta bocina que he decidido comprar otra para emparejarlas y tener el sonido estéreo que tantos extrañan de su versión anterior.
