Great kit to add life to your dryer

Our dryer was making a squealing noise when running. This kit took care of it. There are YouTube videos that guide the installation.

My old GE was squeaky and all the slides were destroyed. This was an easy kit to swap that out with. I didn’t use the wheel portion and am saving the belt for when the other snaps. It is much cheaper to use this to fix an old dryer than buy a new one. There were some spots where I don’t know how well it was attached but I also don’t know how it looked before the old one was broken.

Our GE dryer has been making noises for a good while. After viewing some videos online, I decided to attempt repairing it myself. Ordered a repair kit from Amazon that included several parts and it was delivered yesterday.Following the instructions from the online videos, I am pleased to report our dryer no longer makes the irritating noises. The parts were easy to install, and at a cost of $32.00, it beat the heck out of calling a repairman to resolve the problem. Our noises were the result of a bad support bearing at the front of the drum and that was one of the items included in the kit. I would recommend this for anyone experiencing similar problems. Kit also includes a dryer belt that's easy to replace. Tis was a smart purchase.

If you're ordering this with the hopes of using the dryer bearing, don't. It's Junk. This was after <10 cycles. Absolutely destroyed. I ordered a genuine part and I wish I took a photo before install. It's a much stronger material. The dryer slides could be stringers too, already showing signs of wear.Everything else has worked fine so far.

Can't complain for the price and the fast delivery. My wife was happy the driyer was back in service for her laundry choirs.
