Due to the nature of this material, we strongly recommend hand washing the bottle and avoid submerging or soaking the bamboo in liquids for a long period of time. This will prolong the beauty of the bamboo bottle and prevent the bamboo layer from morphing.We do encourage soaking the inside of the bottle, which is made of food grade stainless steel in dish detergent water or baking soda water before first time use and when doing throughout cleaning.
