Unique Sprouted 100% Whole Grain Pretzel Splits (Pack of Four - 8 Oz. Bags)

I love these pretzels! For some reason, they are challenging to find, but I'm so glad I can find them on Amazon!!! This is one of the few whole grain pretzels on the market, and they are even better than most because they use sprouted grain. Not only do they taste good to me, but they seem extremely healthy compared to most of the snack foods out there. Only 5 healthy ingredients!100% organic sprouted whole wheat flour, organic extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, soda, and organic yeast. They also agree well with my digestive system. I have a friend who doesn't care for the flavor, but my granddaughters and I love these! My husband gets the multi-grain splits, but those have unbleached wheat flour (NOT whole grain) as the 1st ingredient. PLEASE keep making these Sprouted 100% whole grain pretzel splits and making them available on Amazon for a reasonable price!!! I originally found these at Whole Foods, but have been unable to find them there for years.

I love these pretzels and have ordered them for years. Sometimes they are overly expensive or you have to order a huge amount, sometimes they take months to get here, sometimes a vendor mixes them with the shells, which I do not like. But they are tasty and satisfying to me, and I only eat whole grain, organic foods. One caveat: they are too salty for me so I have to scrape them with a knife, which is a huge pain. Thus, the loss of a star--if only they made a low-salt or even a no-salt (the white flour has this option).

Thee are the tastiest whole grain pretzels I have found. They are crunchier than most others. The same people make quite tasty pretzels that aren't whole grain that they once sent by accident. They have a slightly buttery taste that I liked, but they have half the fiber and protein.

Ok so I love the ingredients list for these, no sugar, sprouted grain, low fat etc. The con is that these are probably the hardest pretzels you will ever eat in your life, like for real, make sure you don’t have any tooth issues before biting into one of these bad boys. We dip these into a non fat sugar free peanut butter I make to eat with our THM E meals but I think next time I will go back to ordering this brands shells, they are a little easier to bite into.

Healthy alternative for other brands. Used to purchase Sproutzels and can't find them any more, so switched to these Splits. Like that they are sprouted. Very crunchy, so if they arrive with a few broken up, don't fret! We typically break them in smaller pieces instead of trying to bite into them - they're that crunchy! Don't have the honey taste of the Sproutzels, but still are very enjoyable. We've purchased more than once and will continue to get them.

Ordering them online from Amazon was easy and they were delivered in tact and on time. While a bit pricey, its impossible to find 100% whole wheat pretzels in stores where I live, so online purchasing is the only option and that means you need to spend more if you want whole wheat. Unlike some of the reviewers of this pretzel, I find them to taste good. Not the best tasting pretzels you can buy, but if you don't want sugar or other fats and additives, this pretzel is a good choice.

My original review was rather negative, but I've come around. I give this pretzel 5 stars for trying to make a healthy snack. This is one of the very few snacks on the market that qualifies as a "whole food". It does NOT taste exactly like pretzels made from white flower, but what it does provide is a great crunch with a moderate amount of salt. It is a tremendous adjunct to sandwiches, dips, soups and many others.

These pretzels are positively delicious! I just ordered them again. The bags emptied out very quickly in my house and visitors/guests also totally love them. It's a wonderful "PLUS" that they're also VERY healthy!!!I wasn't sure what a split pretzel was, but it turns out, it's simply a thick pretzel like a Hanover beer pretzel, split in half length-wise. So the "salt" is more on one side than both sides. This makes the pretzels great for dipping into something else. Our house favorite is dipping the pretzels into marscapone cheese.
