Haven't used hem in actuality yet but they are sturdy, appear to be well-made and were easy to reprogram.

These locks have the four number combo which I like better than the typical 3 number ones to increase the amount of combination options. They work as described and so far have never come open when luggage is handled through the airport luggage system. Would buy these again especially since they are airport rating acceptable. Pretty good quality for the price.

Good quality-easy to program

My family is going on vacation in a few months and I wanted to buy some locks for our luggage. After some research, I decided to buy the TSA Luggage Locks (2 Pack) for Travel by Desired Tools. The set of locks arrived securely packaged and in good shape. Prior to receipt of the locks, I received an e-mail message from Desired Tool emphasizing the importance of watching the instruction video on their web site prior to setting the combinations on the locks. I watched the video a couple of times to be sure I understood the instructions. The process is very simple but you have to pay attention. I set the four digit combination on both locks and checked them several times. Each time the locks open and closed smoothly and without any difficulty. The lock bodies seem to be very sturdy. One big advantage is that you do not have to keep track of a bunch of key nor worry about losing them. The locks are obviously not high security locks. They are designed to prevent target of opportunity thefts when traveling. I recommend them to traveler.

Easy small to function gym/bag locker. Works well, light but yet heavy, and secure.

Haven't used them for a trip yet. Set the combination. Worked good once I understood the instructions. The video on their website helped to understand. Had a little (very small) problem at first to find the spot where the shackle moved down. Once I found that, it was easy to set the combination. Like one reviewer said they're solid and heavier than I expected, but should work good on a suitcase. Numbers are close together so you have to turn the numbers with the tips of your fingers or fingernails. I suppose if they were farther apart, it would make the lock bigger and one might not like that. So considering the alternative, the size is just about right, not too big but sturdy enough. Looking forward to using them. I like one reviewer's suggestion to keep an extra in your bag in case baggage handlers (are they really monkeys?) damage the lock on going and then you have one on the return trip. Think I may get another set.

I have used these locks on several overseas and local trips over the years and found them to be sturdy and easy to use on most pieces of luggage. I also lock my luggage anytime I leave my hotel room and never had a problem with theft. A combination lock made with metal and with four numbers is a much safer option than plastic and only 3 numbers. Lastly, when my luggage has been opened for inspection by the TSA which happens occasionally, the padlocks are returned locked and in good order. Also love the variety of color options available.

If you're looking for a luggage lock that stays locked, this might be the lock for you. If you're seeking to keep absolutely everyone out of your luggage, even yourself, then you have officially found the perfect solution. Not only do these locks keep anyone else from opening them, they won't even let YOU into them! I never knew I needed to keep myself out of my own luggage until I purchased these. Once I had chosen my lock combination, without thinking I made the worst decision of my life - locking the lock. I went even further, I spun the dials to ensure my specific code would not be deciphered by some porch pirate. Upon testing the lock's ability to unlock, I was shocked. This lock is so secure that even I was unable to open it using the combination I had just set! Amazing! In the end, it appears I did not purchase the proper key when I purchased the lock - I'd never heard of a key called this, but they called it a "bolt cutter". After purchasing this key, I found that my lock snapped and came right off! Unfortunately, I did not know that I had purchased disposable locks and was only able to use the lock once before discarding.

Suchte für meinen Koffer ein rotes Schloss und habe es hier gefunden. Das Schloss lässt sich leicht einstellen und ist mit dem 4er Code wirklich sicher. Es ist sehr stabil und die Farben sind genau richtig. Alles Top.
