I had these now for a while and wanted to leave a review after being certain. I tested these with multiple champagne, Prosecco, white wine, and red wine bottles. They never came off, they never popped, they never caused any issues, and cleaning them is very easy. I am not sure why some had negative experiences, but with the following common-sense rules, these are perfect: 1) push them in all the way, not just a little. These are plugs, not covers. 2) Open bottles belong in a fridge. 3) Open bottles have to stand, not lie flat or at an angle.

These are quite simply, the BEST wine stoppers there are. They do not leak, they don't stain in red wines, they won't change the taste of delicate whites, they're safe in the dishwasher. (I put them in the third rack, standing upright).
