Do you retract them by just pushing them back into the handles? I was expecting more of a mechanism, like my cymbal brushes.

They do not retract.... What you see here is how they are. There are a couple of bands that can be rolled up to keep the brushes together but that's it. They do play quite well and I like the sound on my Cajon.... Good luck.

Would these create enough noise against 8 inch hit hats for small coffee house gigs?

I think they probably would. They’re not like normal brushes. The bristles are thicker nylon so that they create more sound when they hit the side of a cajon. Out of the different brushes available, I think these are the best.

Why do they have a prop 65 warning?

Can these brushes be used on normal drumheads and symbols?

Don't know for sure, but I don't see why not. They might not sound like metal brushes, though.

Good Cajon Brush

It's a good Cajon Brush, not great. I use wire brush on Cajon. The brush sound is not as great (to my liking) as wires. However the quality seems to be better than an average wire-brush.

Great brushes for my "bass" cajon!! I use one of these brushes often, when performing with my cajon! The plastic bristles make a much better sound on the wooden cajon, than the old fashioned metal brushes, and they slide into the handle, which makes carrying them around for gigs. . . . . perfect!

カホン、シェイカー、タンバリンとMIEINLに揃えていたのでカホンブラシもお揃いにしたかったので他のメーカーと比較したわけでは無いのですが、たまにブラシでカホンを傷付けたとかレビューに書かれていますが、そんなことはありえないほどソフトに表面に当たります。長さを調整出来て良いと思います。
