I'm new to fly fishing, and I started with a $100 maxcatch rod but it snapped on a lady fish. Decided to just hash out the money for a better rod and found this, the day it came in I put a mullet streamer on a 2/0 and caught a decent black tip. Needless to say the quality is superior to your entry level rods, but you get way more them what you pay for here. The casting action feels great compared to the cheap pole by far. The warranty is a plus, it's more of a discounted price to replace a broken section then warranty but it's lifetime.

Haven’t used it yet but it looks and feels like a great fly rod! The extra top section piece was an unknown added bonus! The lifetime no fault warranty is unheard of nowadays and shows Moonshine Rod Co. believes in and stands by the quality of their work!
