Great fit. Sturdy material. This cover has passed the test of time, never getting a hole or anything with years of shoveling snow off of it and squirrels occasionally walking over it. No water ever gets under the cover. (We live at high altitude with a lot of close sun and no shade, so it did fade a little.)

We bought the 36" Duck Cover to replace the cover that originally came with our fire pit (after two years of seasonal use, it was completely destroyed). Right out of the box, the Duck Cover is noticeably made of much higher quality materials. The Velcro straps on the sides are wide and ensure a snug fit even though our fire pit tapers inward towards the bottom. We've experience some heavy rain with water pooling on the top, but it has not penetrated to the interior and so our glass fire-rocks have stayed dry. The exterior also dries quickly. We've only had it a few weeks so far, so can't really comment on long term durability, but no complaints so far. One last thing, our firepit has a diameter of 36.5"; I would not chance this cover with a firepot whose diameter is more than that.
