Nice Knife for the Price
My knives are not, generally, put to very rugged use so I cannot speak to that aspect but, overall, as a substitute for a real Buck at 2x+ the price, I am very satisfied with this knife. It seems pretty hefty to me and all of the joint tolerances on this particular knife are tight. I did read a lot of the reviews prior to pulling the trigger on buying. To address some of the comments:1) One will never be able to open this knife with one hand. However, with the exception of some friction when depressing the unlock, the action is smooth2) I put a VERY small drop of WD40 at the unlock button and on the blade axle where it rotates. Added a VERY small amount of lithium grease at the blade lock point (where is raises to release the blade) in an attempt to reduce the friction when unlocking.3) The knife does rattle around in the sheath. Added some felt which solved the problem and will also keep the back of the snap from scratching the knife. Used a very small amount of shoe goo for the felt glue as it remains flexible and will not soak thru the felt when glued.4) The sheath is very stiff and the leather is cheap "bonded" at the best (not top or full grain) but some mink oil or sno seal melted in with a hair dryer should keep it adequately nice.Overall, I am happy with the $28 purchase and recommend the knife for those who don't want to spend the $65 for a Buck 110 and there's no apparent reason why this knife should not last a long time with reasonable use and care. I will update the review should any issues appear down the road.

Fit and finish could be better.
1 week Update. After some breaking in it's a little better. Still has some excessive rattling but not near as bad. Changing from 2 star to 3 star.2 week update. No longer rattles around. After 2 weeks of carrying and use. it is much more satisfactory. I guess it just needed broken in. I wish it would have been like this right out of the package. I was pretty bummed when I first received it. Changing from 3 star to 4 star.

Classic design that works for less $
Good knife for the money. Feels and looks just like the knife it was designed after, good ergos, sharp right out of the box. Strong lockup. It you don't have the $ to spend on a 110, this version is a nice option for much less money.

Great deal!!
Great product for the price! Very happy with the quality. Comparable to the Buck knife I had in the Marine Corps half century ago.

Fit and finish poor, open and close sticks not smooth
Fit and finish poor. The blade open and close mechanism catches. Not smooth at all. Half way thru closing you have to use two hands to force it. Knife is not even a close second to the US made LB7.See the photos. One photo shows a comparison of my three knives: a new Buck 110, US made 1990 LB7 and finally the foreign made LB7 I just received from Amazon.Notice the fit and finish between the middle US Made LB7 and the new Amazon LB7. The old US LB7 is just like the Buck. Tight metal everywhere, tight tolerances no gaps in the metal. Now look at the third new knife. Large seams in the metal where there shouldn’t be Seams. This means trapped dirt, moisture and rust will happen easily on the new cheap foreign made knife. Also note the new US made Buck and 1990 US made LB7 open and close smooth as can be. The new foreign LB7 gets stuck half way n you have to force it. You can hear when it sticks where the metal scrapes. Even though new it could be rust already formed due to the gaps. Now also note the new LB7 is half the thickness of the old US LB7. Feels a lot cheaper and weaker in the hand. Not lighter due to space age modern materials. It seems to actually have inferior metals lower quality than the Buck or US made LB7.Finally when you compare the pins that hold the knife together compared to the old ones, the pins look like they are a much smaller diameter and may be just brass pins holding it together where the old US knife and the US Buck have a bit larger diameter steel pins. When you hold the new US made Buck and old US made Shrade Uncle Henry LB7 you think of a full field full use knife that will last your lifetime. But when you hold the foreign made Amazon knife, you think “ok this knife maybe could be used to open Amazon packages for a year and then it will give out”. But, it sure is pretty.Maybe I got a bad one? Maybe other good reviews on this knife aren’t real? Or maybe folks just don’t have real quality knives to compare it too.Oh final note. The blade. The blade takes a lot more to sharpen and get sharp than the old US LB7 and new Buck LB7. But it does get very sharp like the other two.On a positive note. The knife is pretty and my wife said it fits her hands better than the other knives. She was into it, til she saw the gaps and how it didn’t close as smoothly as the others.***just changed my review from 2 to 3 stars***. Why? Price. As of this review 2022 price was $18 on Amazon. If you are looking for a well made smooth old school folding knife like the US made Buck and LB7 this knife isn’t it. But….once opened it is, a knife w a blade. The open and close sticks. But in the end, and after you sharpen it (which takes a bit more than the US versions) it is sharp. It does it’s job. It is also almost half the weight of the US made knives and half the width (smaller good, cheaper materials bad).So if you think of it as it’s own standalone knife, you pick up cheap for $18, its a good value knife. It’s pretty. It’s sharp. It opens, not well. It closes, not well. But once open, it’s a knife. If you want a Buck 110 (all US made) or want to duplicate the old LB7 US knife, this isn’t even close to the elegance, durability and functionality.Would I buy this knife again? Yes. It’s a knife where if I forget to take it out of my luggage when flying and the TSA confiscated it…O’well it was just a cheap PRC knife. If I lost my Buck or US LB7 I might just cry. Best to have a knife who’s loss won’t make you cry. This knife won’t make you cry. :)

Sheath is excellent nice and stiff
I put a thumpscrew ( Temu ) on it for e one handed open. This knife is awesome! I've owed a few od the LB7 'S. These are my fav daily carry. Heavy - sharp -The new LB8 IS FLASHY. JUST WISH IS WAS DEER ANTLER.. BUT IT'S OK AS IS. IT'S A NICE PIECE

DO NOT Buy This Garbage
I received this knife about 10 days ago. There are a number of problems with it. The sheath is way too big for the actual knife. The "brass" bolsters are already worn. And, finally, the knife blade has two small nicks. Regardless of what the add says, this is definitely made in China and a complete POS. I tried to save a "buck" (see what I did there?) and get this crap instead of a Buck 110. Mistake. For now, I'll wear my Mossy Oak 4" fixed blade. I chose not to return it because it's only $28 and I don't want to deal with shipping labels and the time involved.
