The temperature control takes getting use to. Other than that I love the size and the versatility, I'm able to cook everything for breakfast with one appliance. Super easy to clean because everything comes apart.

Great little grill! Just what I wanted. Makes 2 adult pancakes or 4 child size. I can keep on counter without taking so much space. Light weight but sturdy. Cooks great but don’t go by instructions, 4 is too high for pancakes. They will burn before done. Start on 2. Love it, would buy again!

First I should say that this griddle does seem to heat quickly and that my initial use experience was positive. We have a full size griddle that we typically use but we live in an area where tropical storms (and the occasional sailboat mast) can take down the power transmission system so we now have solar power generators as backup power supplies and were looking for appliances that weren't so power hungry.This griddle seemed to fill that particular niche need, so we ordered it. However, I have a few concerns related to representations made by the manufacturer.The manufacturer claims on the outside of the box that the cooking area (which is the grill plate) is fully submersible. But the cleaning instructions in the User Manual specifically warn against immersing that plate! I have chosen to follow the instructions and to disregard the apparently false statement on the box.Next, the manufacturer claims on the outside of the box that the removable drip pan and cool-touch safety base are dishwasher safe. But again the cleaning instructions warn against putting the base into the dishwasher over fears that it could warp. Again misleading information on the box. And frankly i hesitate to put the drip tray in our dishwasher as that tray is fairly thin (appears to be aluminum) and I'm not confident it wouldn't warp in the higher water temperatures of the dishwasher. Bottom line? I'll hand wash everything and be very careful not to get the connector area of the heating element wet.Finally the griddle claims to be a 1000 Watt appliance. But the detachable temperature control has a decal stating that it draws 125 volts at 10 amps, which actually equals 1250 watts. I don't have a power meter to confirm, but that seems suspicious to me. Still I suppose it's less than the 1500 watts our full size griddle pulls. Even if it's getting only 110 volts it pulls more power than advertised. That could make a difference for off grid use.Other than the apparently misleading representations about this model it does seem to do what it was designed to do reasonably well.

This is an excellent griddle. It is small compare to bargain griddles but the heat distribution is great to cook multiple food items simultaneously. It is easy to clean right in the kitchen sink. The non stick material makes it easier to clean without heavy scrubbing. However, there are no descriptions in the user manual on what temperature is designated by the numbers on the temperature control. It will be beneficial if, for example, the#1 indicates the 100’s, the #2 the 200’s, etc. Otherwise, it is an outstanding kitchen appliance; perfect for two people household and for an entire family.

I bought this to replace another griddle. The pictures and description made it sound just like my old one. This griddle has a very small cooking surface and the heat stays isolated to around the heating element. There is no temperature setting only the numbers 1-5. It does heat up very fast and is easy to clean, but only allows room for 3-4 eggs or 2 grilled cheese at a time.

I love to cook but b/c of health issues I cannot stand up to cook. I love being able to sit at the kitchen table and use this awesome grill.
