Tier1 Replacement for Maytag UKF8001, EDR4RXD1, PUR, Jenn-Air, Puriclean II, 469006, 469005 Refrigerator Water Filter 4 Pack

It's a mystery to me why something that I have paid so much for in the past can be available this cheap on Amazon. Are you going to tell me these filters are not as good as the manufacturer-suggested ones that cost three times as much? (OK, go ahead and tell me, but I'm not going to believe you!). Four filters for the price of the usual one. I'm now good for fridge filters for two years. The water tastes like... water (what, you were expecting wine?!).

I'm on second filter of a 4 pack. Both were much harder to twist on than any before and both turned out a lot of dark water including large pieces on first use - didn't happen with other filters. Both cleared up after significant rinsing. Both never achieved the flow rate of any other filters. Usually I change filter when noticing a drop in flow which speeds up with new filter. These filters never speeded up, they flow like they are already well used.Now on 4th filter. Same as above review for all 4. Wouldn't buy these again. Have used several other brands and they were all much better.

These filters worked for a day or two, then the water flow decreased significantly. I followed all of the install instructions to flush the lines for 5 minutes when I installed them. I tried unscrewing it and trying again but they just didn't work. I have used 2 of the 4 in the package with the same results. Very disappointed with the product. Will not order again.

Compared to OEM filters these are great value. The seem to fit like OEM and have not seen any leaks from the first one I tried. I did not find the taste any different than normal compared to other filters like Brita. Seems to remove any chlorine taste vs tap water so overall, these do a fine job and since you should replace every 6 months they help save a few dollars.

Product is just what I needed. Only time will tell if they last very long. The price was excellent, the cost of 4 was less than the cost of 1 from local supplier!
