Q: Can an elderly person like my mom use this?

Well that depends. If your mom has rubber grip like gloves to help lose it up the leg, and if she has larger than a small I think it’s doable. To standalone and function this device with a small compression stocking was pretty much impossible for me. I also ordered a $12 pair of Jobst gloves and that helps to lose it up my leg. Since I have small stockings, it’s even hard for me with my MS to pull it over the apparatus. I left them feedback to make another leg for small stockings. The guy at my vein clinic uses this with such ease but you still have to squeeze the thing higher and higher up your leg which is where the Jobst gloves Work great. It’s hard to answer your question because I don’t know if your mom has hand issues already or if she wears a small so I hope this information helps you to make a decision.

Yes you can purchase the sleeve by itself.

The Doff N' Donner was not made to work with pantyhose, only with knee high and thigh high stockings. If anyone is successfully using it with pantyhose, I would love to receive a call from them. 303-507-1415 Linda

No idea what the actual measurement is but I presume strongly this isn't made to use with foot ankle or calf measurement of up to 25 inch DIAMETER as seller response states CIRCUMFERENCE MAYBE. or this would be made to use for stuffing a very large person into pants
