LevelCheck Truma Propane Tank Gas LP Level Checker for BBQ, Camping, RV, Outdoor Heating, and more!

I was looking for some better way to check the propane levels in my RV. 2 30lb tanks. I know that weighing them is the most accurate but a pain to deal with. Found this tool. I understood the principle of operation. The cost was acceptable.This works really well. Take your time using it and this is fairly accurate. I start down low and work my way up. Simple to use and fast. I can pinpoint the location of the Propane fast. The only time I had trouble was when the tank frosted up in cold weather running the heat. Cleaned the tank and dried it fixed that. Very happy with this

I have up to 4 x 9Kg LPG bottles going at any one time, caravan, pizza oven, BBQ etc. and whilst it's easy to swap bottles out as they run dry, it's even easier to be prepared before I start the weber for a roast over 2hrs - I can check the level accurately and I know it won't run out mid-roasting. I've tried the Truma checker on new and used bottles, and it works perfectly every time. Would recommend this product.

Been searching a lp level gauge for some time. Now . Tried those sticker levels which weren't accurate or didn't even work half the time. Then I found this truma gauge . Simple to use plus its versatile with a build in led flashing . Checking the amount of LP has never been so easy and accurate. The only issue is that this products is a bit pricey . Other than that I highly recommend this

I absolutely love being able to get a solid measure of just where exactly my propane levels are at in either of my 30 pound tanks despite it being below 20 degrees outside.This little device has done that greatly for me in my many checks so far and has helped give me an idea of just how much propane I burn through on any given heavy running night.I chose to pay more and get this Truma level checker vs cheaper ones after finding that those cheaper ones don't always exactly work in temperatures below certain levels, which I was clearly experiencing during this winter. It has done its job and more for me, the mental security that I've more then enough propane to last a day or two vs running out in the middle of the night alone was worth the extra cost.Works on all spots I've tried it barring right on top of the welds in the middle which was pointed out already, from top to bottom it'll give you a solid reading of where your tanks levels are at.

I really like this propane level checking device but quickly I discovered it is not always accurate. I checked my son's tank and it told me it was all but empty - turns out it was fairly full. That said, I'm learning that its accuracy depends on how you hold it against the tank and if there is anything like a label to interfere. All that said, I really appreciate having this device and would recommend it if the cost doesn't scare you away.
