I am so happy with this purchase. My 110-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback dog gets extremely anxious about car rides and also suffers from motion sickness, making it very difficult to take her for rides, even to the dog park. In the past, I have had to pay for the prescription stuff from the vet, but it is expensive to keep buying due to her size. After seeing the price and reviews, I decided to give NausX a try, and I'm glad I did. I first tried it on short trips and had no problems. Then, last week, we went on vacation (with the dog included), and she did great on the 4 1/2-hour car ride to and from the place, and again, no problems (no throwing up, and she sat down and relaxed for the ride). As soon as I finish this box, I will buy more because it works and is cost-effective.

Didn’t work for my boy! Seems it made him feel more nauseous. Normally he can get through at least 30 min ride but after giving him this (30 mins prior) before riding he vomited 10 minutes within the ride…this time he was foaming at the mouth which hadn’t happened before! :(

These have really been helpful for my dog!! The only negative is that it doesn't actually work as quickly as advertised. Once you get the timing down though, they work really well. I've finally gotten the timing down of when I need to give it to my dog in a pill pocket treat. I usually give to him an hour or hour and a half before departing, and initially on an empty stomach too. I wait before I feed him a meal to make sure the pill has dissolved/digested too. He's gone from throwing up every time he's in the car to being manageable and able to travel without getting sick. The timing is the real trick though.

Worked perfect for both my dogs that throw up in the car a block away from the house! We took them on a trip about 2 1/2 hrs away and they had no problems. Even on the windy road. Also it didn't make them all drowsy.

My dog has extreme problems with motion sickness. It is physiological, not caused by anxiety. This product reduced the severity of the symptoms but did not eliminate them. I wish I could find a medication that relieves his motion sickness completely.

I have found that the directions on my previous prescription nausea medications from the vet didn’t work. They say give 30-1hr before travel.This didn’t work for my 8lb baby. She still got sick in the car.I had to give it to her 2hrs before travel and not give any food or water for at least 4-6hrs before.If this medication isn’t working for your baby…try this before you give up on it.This method gave us back our traveling buddy!!
