I initially bought is to put HDMI into and USB-C on C to HDMI. But it works well when I want to connect my iPhone to the tv or my iPad. I mainly take it when traveling so I can plug my iPad in and watch movies off of my paid streaming services in the hotel room. The image quality is amazing and it fit with any HDMI cables.

Used it for abt 2 years now and forgot I was even using it its so good.

I was using it fairly often with no issues, then I didn't use it for a few weeks, then I tried using it one day and it stopped working. My computer would no longer register that there was an Hdmi adapter plugged in. I tried it on another computer and had the same issue. I tried using a different brand Hdmi adapter on my computer and that one worked fine. Based on the above reasoning I know that this one broke. It was too late to request a refund. I don't know if the one I received was a bad one or they all break after 5 months. I'm afraid to re-buy this and have it break again in 5 months. It's worth it for me to pay a little extra for a better known brand after this issue.
