Google Nest Wifi Mesh System Router and Point - Snow

The Nest wifi mesh is very easy to set up, works seamlessly with the google home app and the mesh is flawless. The router communicates with the subunit automatically and without any problems. The wifi signal finally fills my house, and the speed is great. Unplugging/rearranging the router and subunit did not cause any disruption. Once they powered back on, connection was immediately restored. Very happy with this item.

Got it on time, set up is easy, looks cute, 2 device good cover enough for my 2000sqft concrete walled apartment. I am subscribed to 1GB broadband service which earlier i got 150mbps download speed and 40mbps upload after setting up Nest my internet got a real good boost to 250-280mbps download and 80+ upload speed instantly. From my learning, I strongly recommend to replace your 4+ yrs old router to attain the max provided speed.

I just received it, setup is very easy and I'm surprised where the wifi signal now is filling my home and strong anywhere, also the internet speed is amazing compared to my old router.. Features of google assistant making this mesh unique and it looks very nice

The Best: - The google wifi app. Easy/slick setup. You can invite others (eg. spouse) to take control over the wifi. - You can create group of devices (eg. child's tablet/laptop etc.) where you can pause the wifi with 1 click. - The google wifi app keeps checking the wifi speed every 2 days - to ensure you're getting the speed you signed up for with the ISP - The pucks are nice and cute. Not very obstrusive, and blend well with the surroundings. Other Wifi manufacturers have slightly odd shaped routers (Velop, Orbi etc.) The Good: - Child node has Google Assistant (speaker) built in - can play music and do some mundane tasks. Speaker quality is OK - Great Coverage. Each node has a very good coverage, but like with any wifi - more walls/obstruction = lower coverage. - Priority device - you can set a device to remain on priority for 1/2/4 hours. In Velop you could perpetually set a device on priority. Not possible in Google Nest Wifi. The Bad: - Child node doesnt have LAN ports! I'm coming from a Linksys Velop where all the nodes (parent or child) had 2 LAN ports. I had to invest in a Switch to make up for the lost LAN ports. Annoying. - Hand off can be 'wonky' sometimes. While i'm on a call (zoom/teams/skype etc.) and move from parent node wifi zone to child node wifi zone - there's an intermittent disconnect for almost a second before it gets picked again. Not sure if i'm being picky. Annoying.

Excellent wifi coverage as well as net speed. My net speed from ISP is 500MB donwload and 100MB upload, through Google Nest WiFi i got 500MB download and 89MB upload. It's perfect. Also coverage better than my old mesh system (Orbi RBK50), i can get singles every where on my home, even though through concrete walls. My old mesh router can't do it. So extremely recommended. I hope in future Google provide mesh router support tri-band and WiFi6 futures.

Major hardware issues with Google wifi nest router. It's going into a re-start loop infinitely without any config changes from my side. Did factory reset as well. Is there a replacement or warranty window for this product? I’m hoping someone from Google or Amazon.ae can help.

Previously was using two routers to have extended network at home as I have two floors, always faced issues with connection. Bought this product and simply love it, never lost connection since then. Package have one router and one point to extend connection. Easy to install, looks very cool, and what’s important it works. Highly recommend it

This does everthing we needed and more. Looks cool in the house. Wifi throughout a 3 bedroom apartment - multiple devices all on the same network and all with great speed. HIGHLY recommended.

1. Ridiculously overpriced for the performance. My Netgear R7000P works much better. 2. "intelligent" switching between 2.4GHz and 5GHz means you *cannot* choose it yourself. 3. Meshing between levels probably works in countries with wooden floors, but with concrete in India, it doesn't work well - horizontal range is less 50 ft between two levels. 4. Doesn't show devices connected unless you agree to the "cloud" option where it will log every single device and probably its activity. 5. No configuration options for power (of the radio), access-control using MAC, etc. Please don't buy this if you're in India.

Been using this product about a year now. It’s pretty awesome! My apartment wasn’t really set up well for me to run an Ethernet cable to my PC, but this still gives you great speeds for whatever you need it for, without the need to run wires. Very happy with the purchase after a year. Plus troubleshooting is really easy with the google home app. Would recommend!

Excelente producto, vale la pena el costo que tiene, es muy fácil de instalar con el celular, solo se tiene que tener una cuenta de google. El rango que cubre el wifi es muy amplio, para una casa mediana con 1 o 2 bastaría para tener wifi en todos lados, teniendo en cuenta donde esta el modem. En mi caso tenía un modem era de Telmex con 200mb contratados, al hacer un speedtest no subía de los 40mb, después de la instalación del nest ya alcanza las velocidades contratadas.

Muito fácil de configurar. O sinal do Wifi, principalmente com os dois roteadores, fica perfeito em todos os ambientes da casa. Agora consigo trabalhar dentro do escritório com a porta fechada! OBS: O produto veio com o padrão de tomada americano (pino chato). Sorte que tinha adaptadores aqui. Na imagem dá a entender que o segundo roteador é o modelo com caixa de som. Mas não é. São dois roteadores iguais, com uma entrada e uma saída RJ45 e entrada pro CA. Mas isso não diminui em nada a qualidade. Cada um já vem com um cabo de rede.
