AJC Battery Compatible with APC Back-UPS 500 BF500-UK 12V 5Ah UPS Battery

Arrived a few days before the suggested delivery date which was welcome. Well packaged and was the correct size. The only criticism is that the terminal spades are slightly narrower than the original battery which means the leads could come adrift. However, I crimped the leads onto the spades with small pliers and wrapped some insulation tape around both terminals to hold them in place. I put the battery cover back on and switched on and the UPS beeped, flashed the lights on the UPS, then gave the normal green light to show all was working normally. The battery matched the original's specs, so the only final step will be to report back on its durability after a few years. A simple battery replacement means this UPS is continuing to work and not taking up space in a landfill (and saved me money too).

Resurrected my old APC unit perfectly - just had to remove the original battery from its housing and disconnect the contacts. The whole job took a couple of minutes, so i'm very happy to have that UPS back in action several years after its original battery died.
