Are these vegetarian or vegan? Looking for a veg multivitamin for women. Thanks!

I'm not sure whether it meets the standard for vegetarian or vegan, because they are vitamins. But I'm sure it is good as multivitamin for women.

How long did it take for there to be a noticeable difference in hair growth?

I believe right away (within first month). The "new hair" that the stylist commented on was consistent with 4-6 months of growth (4-6"), which is consistent with the time period the vitamins were started. I do want to add that she was not taking a multi vitamin before, so I can't say 100% it is these vitamins or just any vitamin would do it.

Why does this product have a California Prop 65 warning? Is the container not safe or what?

You'd need to check the list of ingredients with the Prop 65 list, which is easily accessible online. Just bear in mind that the list includes chemicals with relatively benign risks (like alcohol) as well as chemicals that pose extreme risks. My guess is that some portion of the packaging contains one of these chemicals. Unfortunately, Prop 65 disclaimers are required for this product to be sold in the state of California.

can I take them without working out?

The supplement facts do not state that it is required during workouts. You can certainly use this supplement if you are not working out.
