Exactly what I needed wfh
I bought this because I am a graphic designer who has been designing large scale projects (8 feet banners, magazines, etc) on an 11" macbook pro screen for years. I finally decided it was time to add a second screen and I landed on this one. Being a designer, I was looking for a monitor with a good color profile. This monitor is perfect. It is a little bit wobbly but I noticed that there are a lot of monitor stands sold on here separately that you could easily buy and mount using the 75 mesa mount on the back.Overall, this was easy to set up, worked right out of the box, color looks great (the screen is EXTRA bright in my opinion maybe a little too bright even turned all the way down but maybe this is a good problem?), and I am ultimately excited to use this for work.

I am really happy with the size
I finally found a monitor that has a pleasing size like this 24” LG. I had a monitor of 27” which I much disliked because it was too wide, so I went too far the other way with the next monitor. It was only 22” and it seemed too small. This is a great size because it doesn’t take up a huge amount of desk real estate yet on vertical pages like most are there is just enough real estate to get most of a window displayed.Let’s hope it lasts longer than it’s predecessor, a 22” Acer that quit after only eight months and most of that eight months the computer was shut off and not in use. Acer would have fixed it under warranty but the shipping cost of sending it to Acer would have been on me. I thought it wasn’t worth it. Not only that but I would have had no monitor while it was in repair. An unhappy situation.

It does exactly what I need. Good quality.
This was exactly what I needed for basic graphic design work. Not too small, not too large, and sharp picture quality. The only downsize is it really need a raiser, the screen is way, way too low. I found a clear acrylic riser on Amazon and it's the perfect height and has a shelf and a way to slide the keyboard under the riser ... just measure before you purchase a raiser. I use two Mac computers with this one screen ... there is a button on this screen that lets you switch computers. I like this screen a lot. Very happy with it.

You can easily fix the base
After a day of use I’m pleased with this monitor for use with my work computer. The design is sleek, and the resolution and colors on the initial startup “custom” screen settings are very nice and very easy on the eyes. For use as a computer monitor they seem to be best for me out of the other pre-configured options. The base was initially very wobbly as others report. However the problem is mostly with the screw that connects the horizontal foot to the upright support at the bottom of the stand. They supply a D-ring on that screw so you can tighten it using your fingers. This is inadequate. Use an appropriately sized (large) flat head screwdriver and you will find the screw tightens much further than you thought it could. Doing this makes the monitor stability acceptable if not quite great.

Should have bought a long time ago!
I should have bought this product a long time ago! I was tired of hunching over at my desk to see my laptop. This makes my posture better and I can see what is on my screen with this monitor! Why did it take me so long to get this?!

Awesome for Multi Monitors ! Bought two 24 inches and one 27 inches
I wanted to use these monitors mainly for software development. So 1080p and 60hz was enough for me. Also, I am powering these with my dell xps 15 9560. I am using the dell wd15 dock which drives 2 displays and charges my machine. The third display is connected to the hdmi port on the laptop.Pros -Nice Paneldecent speakersVESA mounting !small bezels on all 4 sides. Makes it a champ in any multi monitor configCons -Window management software is crappy - makes my system lagbuild quality is flimsy - the backside goes inside the body if you put force on the portsno display portno USBnipple button standby lights ! - so annoyingIf you want a monitor don't let the cons let you down. It is a great monitor with a really nice panel

Great screens, but truly terrible stands, you *must* use a VESA mount monitor stand
These monitors look great and a good price point for the build quality of the monitor itself, but you should know that the stand is useless and you need to buy a VESA mount stand day 1. LG clearly expects customers to install these on monitor arms with the VESA mount and never use the stands in the box at all. The stand they include are NOT adjustable at all in height or tilt. The monitors lean forward a significant amount and are *extremely* low. I can't imagine the geometry of the desk that these monitors would work on. I would need a 8-10" riser to make the viewing angle workable and the fact that they lean means that you have a massive triangle of space between the screens if they aren't aligned exactly like a flat plane, which is very annoying for a dual monitor set up (which they are targeting with these beautiful thin bezels!)BUT if you accept that you need a monitor mount or were planning to use one anyway, this is a great buy. The screens are good quality, the stands are made to be trash.Update: downgraded to 3 stars for just bizarre design: the monitors are still going strong, but I moved my home office into the bedroom and when the monitors don’t have signal (AKA your computer is off) they just blink incessantly and you actually have to turn them off everyday. Who chose that behavior was going to be default and not possible to turn off???

Great Value for a high-quality monitor!
This review is for non-gaming applications. I bought this monitor to turn my Macbook Air into a desktop for working at home, and it works fine for work. Besides work, I do photography editing. This is where this monitor really shines for me. The resolution and color is fantastic! It makes it so much easier to edit my photos on this monitor vs my 13" laptop screen.Note about other reviews on the wobbly stand. I was hesitant to buy this monitor when I read those reviews, but luckily I read one review where the person used a screwdriver to tighten the screw on the stand instead of just hand tightening. I followed their advice, and it worked like a charm....the stand works fine.
