Worked Great in F-150 for 2 Cameras
I bought these to install a back and front facing camera in my F-150. The diagram of how to wire it in the photos was very helpful; you do need a soldering iron and since I don't do this on a daily basis I purchased an inexpensive soldering iron: Vastar® 60W 110V Adjustable Temperature Welding Soldering Iron with 5pcs Different Tips, additional Solder Tube and Stand for Variously Repaired Usage It came with everything I needed and I found the metal stand to be quite helpful in holding the iron while I held the switch and solder below to work.I used some left over speaker wire I had; 22 gauge and some heat shrink tube around the soldering points. I used a step drill bit in order to make the proper size holes and they fit like a glove. The blue is bright, but not too blinding, if I did it again I'd probably purchase white because the blue doesn't quite match my gauges.Once wired you can test the switch on a 9v battery to ensure it functions.Something to note is the silver nut is not meant to be visible, it gets screwed on after you put the switch through the hole. Clunky very un-precision feeling when you press it on and off.
Switch feels like third world junk quality when you activate it on and off. Picture was confidence inspiring but reality was lousy. These feel like 1/4 of the quality you would expect from an oem switch. I see the value as more like $.99 they are likely paying for them and not the $9 they are charging for them. I am outta time and have to use them now, hate putting my name on the job. Just think people should know what they feel like, very disappointed with no options available to me now.

Dear Seller: I need contact info please...
Dear Seller: I accidentally ordered this one instead of the upgraded version, I didn't realize until i had it in my hand and saw it wont fit the pigtail for the upgraded version, it was too late for me, I needed it to turn on my battery voltage sensor in my car and I had everything dismantled waiting for the delivery, I decided to just try to use it still.. couldnt be that hard... soldered one on the negative, and as soon as the solder touched the NO1 prong i heard a click, i didnt even get to hold my iron to the prong, the heat of the solder alone and the switch stopped latching immediately.. Its so tiny and so fragile then to solder it and it breaks. :( I wasted my money and my time.EDIT: Was contacted by seller and sent the upgraded switch with a pigtail. it arrived 2 days after my first review. These guys are the best and that switch is nice, pics of after install b4 i painted and cleaned up my mods. I def will be buying from these guys again. Most likely more switches and a car backup camera.

Do not solder wires to this switch!
Initially, this was a very nice small switch I was planning to use to turn my truck bed lights on/off. The switch worked fine the first few times I tested it. The lugs on the back are very small, so female quick-disconnects were out of the question. I did what I usually do in this situation: solder my wire securely to the lug, then heatshrink each wire and lug for a weatherproof connection. When I tried to test the switch after this, the button would not come unlatched. After some further investigation, it appears that the plastic used on the back of the switch melts very quickly when soldering wire to the lugs...I may order another switch along with the optional pigtail assembly and test that out. I really do like this switch for its footprint and appearance, but I am pretty disappointed in the quality of the material used for the rear of the case

These little switches are amazing. I love the way the look
These little switches are amazing. I love the way the look, and feel. The white light isn't too bright to be distracting at night, but bright enough to be clearly visible during the day. I have mine wired to the parking brake lead on my remote start system. I have a manual transmission so this button has to be pushed in order for my remote start to work. It's just a extra step to make sure the transmission is in neutral. Also I can turn off the remote start completely using this switch if someone else is driving my vehicle. Overall I highly recommend this switch. They look and work fantastic!UPDATE: It's been a couple months and the switch is still functioning perfect. Very happy with the switch!
