Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou

My 16-month old niece absolutely loved this Christmas gift. Baby Chou Chou giggles and says different phrases when you touch her tummy. She is very soft and lovable and perfect for a little one to carry around. She appears to be durable and well-made. I got this item on a 50% off sale through Amazon and it was definitely a great deal for the price.

I would prefer a baby doll that doesn't make any noise and is just nice and soft and cuddly (this one has a hard plastic box in the belly for the sound box) for imaginative play. However, my daughter's first Chou Chou this size was ruined in the washing machine (not recommended, but she had puked on it when sick). I wanted to get the same size since I had made clothes for her doll that will be keepsakes for years to come. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a doll in this size that didn't have some sort of noisy function, like crying or talking. I just turned the switch to off (it's nice that this doll has an off switch because it's rather loud) and she hasn't even noticed that it does anything. It looks just like her old Chou Chou and she loves it.

Baby Chou Chou came... I drove to the us border to pick it up.when it got home my daughter was extatic. She has been patiently waiting for one.We unpacked it and it won't turn on.. We go to change the battery and discover they exploded in the doll. So even new batteries don't help.The battery acid has seized the on off button and it won't come clean.To send it back will cost me $46.00 at the minimum.So now I have a doll that my daughter can't play with.This was my first experience using amazonAnd my last...

My older daughter is obsessed with her Mommy Make Me Better Baby Chou Chou. I decided to purchase Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou for my younger daughter over the holidays. Right away, I noticed that this doll was a bit smaller than our Mommy Make Me Better Chou Chou doll (the version in the yellow onesie, purchased in 2007). However, this doesn't really impact the quality of the doll as she appears nicely made.However, as a toy Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou is a disappointment. She is VERY sensitive. A slight nudge makes her repeat her stock phrases in her loud mechanical voice. And have I mentioned this doll is loud??? On the plus side she is cuddly, but who wants to hug a loud, unrealistic doll? As I noted, she seems well made. The baby carrier is cute and we use it with other, similarly sized dolls. The doll itself doesn't get much playtime though. I wish we had stuck with the tried and true Mommy Make Me Better doll.

I purchased this doll along with the Mommy Make Me Better Chou Chou during the holidays. I gave one to my little girl and gave one away as a gift. Before deciding which to keep I tried them both out and noticed Bye Bye Chou Chou was extremely sensitive and seemed to activate too easily and accidentally. Her voice was not as natural as the other Chou Chou. This is a cute doll if you turn her off and play with her as an ordinary baby doll with her bonus carrying basket. I would recommend the Mommy Make Me Better Chou Chou instead which is extremely adorable, very lightweight, with cute and appropriate functions and sounds.

I purchased this doll as a Christmas gift for my 1 1/2 year old daughter, Isabella. She just loves it so much. She likes to pretend that she is a mommy. When she get tired, she enjoys pushing the baby onto mommy to hold and feed. She loves the "crib" that converts into a backpack or pocketbook.She gets lots of enjoyment out of her new baby.Great product!!!Just wish the clothes could come off for easy cleaning.

I purchase Bye Bye Baby Chou Chou for my grand-daughter, to play with. She is very cute. She giggles but I cannot make her talk neither can my grand-daughter. That is o,k. with me, because my grand-daughter loves to play with her. I think she is a little bit over priced, being she does not talk as the description said when I purchased her.

Granddaughter loved it. She is still carrying it around. So glad you had the doll it was very hard to find
