Insta-cure gap filling 2oz Bob Smith Ind.

I got turned onto this stuff years ago half a lifetime ago. I used to work in an upholstery shop and my boss found a guy who could repair some of the frames that were in really bad shape. That's when I discovered this glue in the early 1990s. I've used it for all kinds of things you just need a little drop and be careful nothing's worse than gluing your fingers together. My only complaint is when you first open a new bottle you cut a small opening off the top of the glue and even with putting the cap on it seems sometimes the nozzle gets clogged and then you have to cut it lower. But this stuff is permanent I've used it in model building fixing things that are unfixable. A word of caution though I was building a garage for an HO train platform and I use it to glue the windows into building and because I sat the building down virtually sealing it the fumes caused all the clear plastic windows to get fogged up permanently. I don't really understand the purpose of the accelerator you hold the pieces together for 10 seconds they're stuck and after a couple hours it's completely cured. It's amazing you can glue metal to wood plastic the metal ceramics. Perfect example my brother-in-law borrowed an engine hoist to take the engine out of his car and the rubber grips kept sliding off I said give me a second put a couple drops slip the grip back on and he was amazed I said these grips are never coming off again. I've tried other so-called super glues like krazy glue. Everything else out there is a joke. This is the best glue ever if I could I'd give it six stars.

This one is a winner! Bob Smith Insta-Cure+ works well on a wide range of materials. For years, I have successfully used instant CA glues (cyanoacrylate adhesives) along with accelerators for hobbies and household projects. None have worked better than Bob Smith CA products -- and Insta-Cure+ is a personal favorite. Insta-Cure+ is affordably priced, has a medium gap-filling viscosity, the bottle and applicator tip are easy to use, it has little odor, and it quickly bonds a wide range of common materials (even some foams). Will last for years if kept upright in the freezer in a heavy zip bag. Check it out for yourself. I'd bet it will put a smile on your face too.

This, along with super thin, is my go-to CVA for modeling. You will want the glue tip activities to go along with it. I also recommend using the activator spray to set it instantly. A word of caution, though....This is SERIOUS super glue. Wear gloves, and have debonder or acetone handy in case you glue yourself to something. I recently got it one my finger while simultaneously spraying the activator, and it not only bonded my finger to the work but raised a blister due to the tremendous heat caused by the chemical reaction. This stuff is for ADULTS ONLY and it isn't idiot proof, as I can attest. Good stuff but BE CAREFUL.
