As an (almost) lifelong vegetarian beans are an essential ingredient in my diet. These quickly cook up in an Instant Pot and I use them in soups, stews and a host of other dishes, and they are delicious, they are also good value. An unfortunate side effect is their contribution to flatulence, but that is something you have to live with (so far I haven't blown the quilt off :-).

Those beans are too hard (despite cooking for an appropriate length of time), also I think that it is a bit overpriced. Tastes good though.

I often buy from Wholefood Earth. They have great quality products and great selection. I also like the fact that I can buy in bulk (2-3kg), so no packaging is wasted and I save money this way. Unfortunately this time my butter beans were rather bad. They were not very big after cooking and they almost completely dissolved in water, leaving watery pulp and empty shells. This is great if you cook a soup, but not when you try to have whole beans after cooking. Also making creamy spreads was a bit challenging as the pulp was way too wet and hard to drain it off. Bad batch of a different type of beans maybe? This does not put me off from buying from Wholefood Earth, but I may buy my butter beans from someone else next time. Still great company and highly recommended.

These are brilliant butter beans. You can soak overnight in water, drain, then make your own (vegan) baked beans! I guarantee you’ll never go back to the slimy, sugary tinned baked beans! These are so easy and you can create your own flavours of baked beans, curry beans, barbie beans, whatever you fancy! Delicious!

Cook them well, and they go fine with a whole load of stuff.

Excellent beans, smallish in size, great quality. All beautiful and white.
