Failed to harden after six hours although used successfully in the past
Used previously in a three-colour pack (white, grey and black) and then the only choice available, it is now available in single-colour packs of those three plus many other colours although they are only available in various combinations containing up to eight pellets. While easy to use, it is intended to harden after about 30 minutes within a moderately warm environment (up to about 25-deg C). On this occasion, when used to repair the pouring lip of a bowl that was accidentally chipped days earlier, it was found to remain soft and still mouldable more than six hours later. The white material was the first to be used from the original pack (what was then repaired is now not remembered) and the black was used just a week or two ago and also very successfully. The Use-By dates on the two packs are different (03-22 on the older one, 11-22 on this) but still well within date so there is no clear reason why this should have failed this time unless the product has changed or it is from a faulty batch. An alternative epoxy-based product will now be obtained - that had also been used previously and in a great many situations, always successfully. Addendum - a later purchase worked exactly as it should, solidifying within 20-30 minutes (it was a very cold day) and completely hard about 24 hours later when next checked. Unfortunately, every time it has been used only a small proportion of the slab was needed with nothing else needing repair to suit that colour and use the remainder. At least 3/4 is wasted every time and that makes it expensive!

Best thing I've ever bought.
Now while this is expensive for what it is, I felt like I should do a review seeing as this stuff holds my house together. My landlord doesn't do repairs. I've used this stuff to fix screws into hollow door frames to keep doors from falling off. I've used this stuff to fox holes in woodwork. I've used this stuff to fill a hole between the doorframe and the wall. I've used this stuff to fix cheap flat pack furniture. It LITERALLY keeps my home from falling in. Expensive? Yes, but not as expensive as full repairs and it saves me having to live without a door because my landlord is awful.

Marketing sticks better than the product
I used Suguru to fix a polycarbonate cheese compartment that had its lugs sheered off by something falling from the top of the fridge... repair was easy, however after leaving a day or more the repair still felt a bit flexible and the next day when the fridge door was opened it came off.... One side had stared to pull away and both sides were a little flexible still... I can see it has some uses but for repair of something that needs to be hard and load-bearing this isn't the one....

Brilliant!!
Had a tiny hole in my camping chiller, so it needed filling to keep everything nice and cool! And by accident I came across this! Non toxic, no mess, not sticky. I just pulled a bit off, its like white blue tac, so no sticky fingers. Spread it in the tiny hole smoothed it, left it overnight....Job done!! Absolutely brilliant, hole sealed, Sugru has set solid, withstands cold and hot temperatures, cannot recommend it enough!

Not for oily plastics..
If only I knew that this product would not bond with oily plastic like polypropylene, polyethylene or Teflon. After I had molded a master piece, it got hard and fell off! I had to search for the bonding info and found it on Amazon Australia… Hopefully Amazon UK will update this negative issue in the product description. Lesson learnt :-(

This is great stuff!! Sugru is a handy product that has dozens, if not hundreds, of uses. A pliable, moldable clay-like "glue" that bonds to almost anything to repair a broken object, improve something that is not broken to make it more functional, or create something that doesn't exist. I have added heat-proof handles to pots & pans, fixed a broken garden sculpture, added "feet" to kitchen counter items & planters, fixed zipper pulls, repaired charger cords, & more!. Waterproof, heat resistant, stays pliable after it sets. Non-toxic, too. You can blend colors to match almost anything. Love this product!
