These mic foam covers should generally fit typical handheld microphones out there. Reasonable cost and good quality.

These no-frills foam pop filters are both affordable and effective. This is perfect for outdoor microphones, or for singers or speakers who tend to be more percussive in their speech. The foam is completely washable, making them great for multiple users. They fit perfectly on a variety of microphones, including SM58 stage mics. As others had commented, these arrive compacted flat in a small box. Simply rinsing them in warm water and letting them dry will not only minimize any odor, but also allow them to return to their normal round shape. These are permeable to air and water, so they do not make your microphones somehow waterproof. I definitely recommend these for most audio applications.

I keep these in my gig bag for outside performances and they work quite well. When I'm finished, I just pop 'em back into their dedicated pocket. Just about eliminates annoying wind mic interference.

I picked up this 5 pack mainly because I run multiple microphones and needed extra windscreens I could rotate or swap out when needed. I originally bought them to replace the foam cover on my Blue Yeti after the old one finally disintegrated from years of use. They're use to use, easy to slip on as long as they fit your mic and they hold up over years. So far these have held up well. The foam quality is solid for the price and they don’t feel like they’re going to fall apart right away. They fit snug on my mics and stay in place. I don’t use these as a single solution though. I usually stack filters, so I’ll run a pop filter plus a foam windscreen like these, sometimes even more depending on the setup. Doing that really helps isolate plosives and clean up recordings. They definitely reduce the P and B popping sounds, and they help tame S hiss as well. It’s not a miracle fix on its own but combined with other filters it makes a noticeable difference. Also helps a bit with general background noise when recording or streaming. For around 8 dollars for a 5 pack it’s honestly a great budget option, especially if you’ve got multiple USB or XLR microphones like I do. If you need extra windscreens or just want backups on hand, these are a solid inexpensive pickup.

They arrive all scrunched together in a pack of five. No problem. But don't expect them to expand fully. Maybe after a week or two, but not after a day or two. I have no complaint about that, it is what it is. They fit my 80s era Audio Technica mikes just fine and will do the job. Five stars for doing the job, being inexpensive, and arriving fast. I've sent others back for not accomplishing any of those 3 main criteria. I'm keeping these. Note: tried to upload photos but couldn't.

They do come squished in small box and appear deformed. At first I thought this would not work but some people mentioned soaking them in warm water and then putting them in the dryer for a few minutes. This got the foam to expand back out and removed most of the deformation. Just be aware of this before purchasing as it was not something I planned on doing.

Für den Preis unschlagbar. Aufgrund der Rezensionen war ich erst abgeschreckt, allerdings hab ich mich drüber hinweggesetzt und ein Set bestellt. Sonntag Abend (23:40 Uhr) bestellt und Montag gegen 14 Uhr geliefert (Lieferung per Amazon). Die Rezensionen stimmen, die Popfilter kommen in einem engen Päckchen. Allerdings ist es nicht so schlimm wie beschrieben. Die Filter auspacken und auf irgendein Objekt, der Größe entsprechend, aufziehen (entweder direkt auf das Mikrofon oder bspw. auf eine Deo Flasche o.ä) und ein paar Minuten/Stunden warten. Anschließend abziehen und sie sehen sehr gut aus, mit nur minimalen Fehlern. (Für den Einsatz bei meinem Shure SM58 habe ich die Filter von Innen einfach mit Fingern gespreizt und anschließen einige Minuten auf einer flachen Oberfläche liegen lassen.) Geruch ist nur minimal vorhanden und verzieht schnell, mich hat es direkt nach dem Auspacken nicht gestört (riecht man nur wenn man mit der Nase direkt dran geht) und im direkten Einsatz ist er mir nicht mal aufgefallen. Hauptsächlich benutze ich es auf einem Shure SM58, wo der Popfilter sehr gut drauf passt. Die Kapsel passt super in den Filter, allerdings steht es hinten etwas (wirklich nur wenig) über, was mir persönlich nichts ausmacht. Auch auf ein t.bone SC450 passen die Filter, hier ist es etwas eng von der Länge her, allerdings ist das nicht weiter schlimm. Wenn man sich ein Bild vom t.bone sc450 anguckt reicht der Popfilter bis zur unteren Kante von der Kapsel, dort wo die Beschriftungen für die Schalter anfangen, also die Kapsel ist komplett abgedeckt und es hält. Klanglich tuen die Filter was sie sollen, die Plausivlaute verhindern, und das tuen die Filter sehr gut. Ich habe ca. 11€ für ein Set (5) bezahlt und bin sehr überzeugt. Noch habe ich drei in Reserve, falls ich aber weitere benötige werde ich sie hier bestellen. Fazit: Falls man also damit leben kann, dass man für ca. 2,20€ pro Filter minimale bis keine Druckstellen in dem Schwamm hat ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.

I've found these really useful. They protect my Sennheiser handheld radio mics well. For the price you can't go wrong. Definitely worth having and makes me feel better knowing the capsules have an additional layer.

Comprate con qualche dubbio se potessero stare sul microfono, arrivate e calzano perfettamente. Fanno il loro lavoro e costano il giusto. Se dovessero sembrar grandi per altri microfoni, si può tranquillamente stringere con una fascetta da elettricista o un semplice elascico per capelli.

Very good quality and does not need to soak water to have the shape. Fit my Shure SM58 mic well! Good price too!
