Ideal for replacing the old 3.5"HDD in a computer with a new 2.5" HDD where the hard drive needs to be exactly the same size as a 3'5" drive. This may be the case where the drive plugs directly into computers mainboard without a cable, such as laptop or "all in one" PC such as the older HP Smart Touch. Good quality unit with all necessary screws.

I purchased this to adapt a 2,5 inch SSD to fit into a NAS HDD bay. This worked well for the purpose. It was easy to fit and is still working a month later. I would recommend it.

The product is somehow usable . We could install Western Digital SSD drive in it but the height of the SATA connector given on yhe ORICO mount is more and not correct. We need to put extra cushioning under the drive to level it up to reach the connector, otherwise the installed deruve remains inclined and can not lock screws towards the connector end.

Ordered this at the same time as my SSD replacement for my failing HDD. Set up was real easy.

2.5→3.5インチ SATA SSD/HDDアダプターです。 アルミ削りだしのような外見をしていますが、説明にもありますがプラスチックなので放熱効果は全く期待できません。むしろ熱がこもりました。 SSDはもとよりHDDを装着するしても放熱用ファンをボルトオンすることは必須です。

Product is as described and arrived on time. Sata plug alignment was perfect. Fits in the hdd cage well. Provided screws are a bit bulky for the cage, so I used the old hdd screws. Can be improved in that regard.
