Smooth combing and doesn’t scrape my scalp

I bought this brush for myself thinking it would be a good styling brush. It works well for styling but it turns out that it is amazing as a detangler for long thick hair. My wife has long curly hair and constantly struggles with tangles after washing. She reports that this is the best brush she has ever used for getting the tangles out.She absolutely went into orbit and I am now ordering a second one so that I will have one that I can find when I need it. Amazon has it listed as a "Women's Home Salon" brush but I can say unequivocally that it works great for styling short men's hair as well. I use a blow dryer with this brush and it is extremely comfortable on the scalp as the pins are not sharp and somewhat thick. It speeds up the time it takes to blow dry my hair.Highly recommended for men or women.

Bristle pad comes out from wooden brush head making this useless.I waited a few days to see if the plastic bristle pad (all bristles are one piece) would stay stuck if put back in, but no. I've used this brush for less than 30 days and the finish is already failing. This is an a brush with no longevity. If it would have stayed put, the bristles were good for detangling. But if they come out there's no point. Spend your money elsewhere.

Best brush for coarse BEARDS! Because the quills don't have those annoying little balls at the ends, you don't rip all your luscious beard hair out. Works well for styling hair too, but for the very firm pomaded I use, I prefer to use a comb. Still, try this for your beard maintenance. I also wish they made one with not as many rows of quills. This one is 5 or 6 I think, it'd be cool to have a 4 row one with the quills more spaced out. Just purchased my second brush, my first Kent lasted me about 3 years until the rubber plate at the base started getting weird looking.

This brush works beautifully for my child's hair. They have very curly hair, and this brush is long and thin, which is great for tackling tangles. The brush tips do not have "balls" on them (which generally catch & break hair). These bristles are just straight with nothing to catch and rip hair - so definitely more gentle. The wood handle is eco friendly & durable. This brush is definitely made for a Queen, even saying "BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN" on this KENT brush! Nice!!

probably my mistake. i wanted the narrow top part, where the bristles are, but paid no attention to size of the handle. this is a TRAVEL SIZED BRUSH!!! i like how it feels on my scalp, but it is tiny. well, i have a pedestal sink with limited space, so i guess this will work for now.

Had high hopes for this brush. Looking for brush with thick, stiff bristles. The wooden handle with rubber insert was comfortable in the grip. The overall size of brush would be good for travel. The bristles were thick however they were too soft and bent easily. Not what I was seeking to tame my wavy hair. Returned for refund.
