Excellent sound, you can give it +4 or +6db with no problem, low noise, and is cery cheap and low profile. For a type 1 tape is truly amazing and if you like, could use Dolby B and all hiss is gone. Great type 1's
I believe these have TDK AD tape in them. A fantastic, high-output, super-ferric type 1. One of the better high-end type ones that you can get. Worked wonderfully with Dolby B for my Walkman.
