Privacy Focused Internet Swiss Army Knife
There is no connectivity problem that can’t be solved by this thing! It’s a travel router/AP, it has a VPN client, it even has its own 4G LTE modem, I just wish it had 5G.I keep it with me when traveling to make sure I always have a secure internet connection, weather where I’m going has WiFi or not!

Overheating & Dissapointment
I was really excited about getting this! But it's charging apparatus/Ethernet connection (yeah, it's all connected, kind of) is just goofy and the device always overheats, which drains the battery super fast. I don't know....I loved GLinet products, the portable routers with open source firewalls & security features are sweet!! I still have a the old school Slate 750AR and it runs nonstop doing exactly what I need it to do. Maybe this time I just got a bad apple? But this... It just kinda feels like junk.If I were you, I'd look at the Netgear Nighthawk Hotspots. I had an old M1 that was faster and more reliable than my home internet. I don't know about the new ones, but the M6 looks awesome.

VPN Switch did not work, the router shuts down the Cellular connection due to its high temperature
The router received definitely was not in good quality. The side switch that supposed to turn on or off VPN did not work at all. That was not the main issue. The issue was that the router's temperature ran too high in less than half hour, that completely shut down the cellular connection while the router 's power still on and indicators still showing the LTE Cellular was on.Unreliable router, cheap design, not in good quality.

This is awesome!
Ironically, I have T-Mobile obviously, or I wouldn't have been able to even use this....but being with T-Mobile, I purchased the OnePlus Nord 10 5G phone and sadly, it's just not the quality of phone I am used to having come from a Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G with Verizon ..... I feel like the OnePlus phone just can't keep up with the many ways we all use our phones these days - and on a couple of occasions, for absolutely no reason at all that I have been able to figure, the phone's screen will just go black... Almost like I turned the level of the screen brightness ALL the way down, but in reality, I didn't... The first time I could still barely see just enough on the screen that I was able to slide the brightness level all the way UP yet it still made absolutely no difference...it was still way too dark to actually use the phone.... I'm telling this story because this is why I wanted the device I'm reviewing... I still have 2 of my old phones, the Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G and my even older Samsung Galaxy S8+....however, they are no longer connected with any active services lines. This means that I can only use them with Wi-Fi.... So, until I get a new phone through T-Mobile, I have been carrying around the Galaxy Note10+ in addition to the OnePlus.... Totally works out okay, except for when the OnePlus goes black and I can't do ANYTHING about it except to leave it off the charger for 2 days so it powers down and somehow resets itself that way - which also means that the hotspot I was using from it for the Note10+ also goes down.... I needed a way to be able to access wifi with my Note10+ when I was between different places.... Having already had a second line through T-Mobile with an active SIM card, but No 2nd phone - this was perfect! I was able to put that 2nd line to use with this device and solve my problems of not having internet steadily while on the go. It's an amazing solution...and I am beyond grateful I have the ability to make use of it. Highly recommended.

Failing after 1 month
This little router worked great for a weeks and weeks, but suddenly is emitting a loud, crunchy whining noise. Absolutely a capacitor failure - the device is holding out for the moment, but I don't trust it any more!I really like this little router - I got it to do everything I wanted with almost no issues. It is compatible with a few cell carriers, and I was using it for a remote installation project. But now I can't trust it, since it might just die. The loud noise can be easily heard by ear. How long will it's life be now?
