Q: when u say low profile, does that mean thinner than standard velcro, does the hoop side get nappy

Even though it's industrial strength, I don't think that it is any thicker than normal Velcro. I have used it for inter-changeable unit rental signs at our self-storage facility and the soft side of the Velcro is holding up fine with repeated use.I can recommend this product for difficult situations and repeated use.

Q: Is the adhesive safe for wood floors? I want to use this to adhere stair treads to wood stairs.

I'm sorry, I don't know. I used it for a saddle pad than had to fasten to the bottom of the saddle, worked pretty good and peeled off with some resistance when I switched up the pads.

Q: Does this come with both parts? The fuzzy part and the bristle part? Thank you.

Yes, It is all on the one piece, front and back. When one side is wrapped around the items it sticks to the other end-opposite side. I am presently holding a heavy, rolled up , 10 ft X10' wooden blind in the rolled up position one piece on either side. Easy release by pulling on the overlap. I even bought a 2nd roll. Great item!
